Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The property is located at an amazing spot, and the view from the lodge is mind blowing. There are a lot of cute places in the town, to dine and have a good time. Plus there are a lot of places around to site see. Great for families.
We love the area and have stayed at Deerhurst several times. It is close to Algonquin Park. We love the kayaks, canoes that are easily available on the beach. We love the history of the main lodge. The size of the room was great, we stayed at Bayshore on the beach, lovely view. We had dinner at Eclipse, it was the summer buffet, price was good but food was average. We also ordered desserts at Compass, the dessert was great, but the portions were small.
Super friendly staff, and an amazing location! Roughly a 20 minute drive to Huntsville which is full of restaurants and shops. The lodge was very cozy and extremely clean!
beautiful lodge, great decor and inviting facilities, very friendly new owner who treated us like royalty. The nice little continental breakfast offered suited us perfectly , we wouldn’t have expected anything!
AJ was a very attentive host, and also respectful of our privacy, I was happy the front door is manned or locked with key entry for safety as I was travelling alone with my toddler. very nice updates to bathrooms and rooms!
This is an old lodge undergoing renovation. Main part of lodge is large and comfortably furnished. Our bedroom was renovated but had no air conditioning so was quite warm in August.
Our family enjoyed our stay at 3 pines lodge. The lodge was close to a beautiful beach in a serene area. Our rooms were clean, quiet and comfy and the breakfast was plentiful. Finally, the owners were very kind and hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you.
3 Pines Lodge is dog friendly and the size of the room, the 2nd door to the outside, the way the shower is set up so we could put our dog’s water dish in there to prevent spilling, the 5 min walk to the lake were all so ideal for a weekend with our lab retriever.
the location at Mary Lake was beautiful as was the lodge. there is a great feeling of peace, upscale rustiness and comfort.
