Lodges in Lucerne

A friendly, homely place where the staff make you feel welcome. My room had great views over the roofs and Mt Rigi in one corner, and I watched the stars at night, very distinct in the clear air. Breakfast was impressive, with lots of choice. The location was semi-rural, with cows and their bells making their presence known by the railway station. Pure heaven! Very convenient and easy to get to from Luzern. On the second night there was an unexpected stampede by a herd of 'wilderbeest' - which sounded like the arrival of a group of overexcited students. I did not mind as I had ear plugs with me, and fell asleep in no time.

A very beautiful and comfortable room with a very scenic view. The appartment has very scenic views all around and has all the facilities including Kitchen for self cooking. The host Sandro is a very nice and approachable and gives you good advise. He made a very good breakfast for us at a very reasonable cost and offered complentary wine and dessert also. Will definately stay again.
