Lodges in Ojochal

This is like luxury camping, where the place is a mix between a tent and an apartment. We had a nice view of the mountains, which we enjoyed from our terrace with a hammock, and we cooked on the gas stove. It was so peaceful. My biggest fear was sleeping without air conditioning, but we slept well. The beds are comfortable, and the fan and fresh air were sufficient for good sleep.

We liked everything about this place. The accommodations are wonderful with a beautiful view into the forest. The owners are super friendly and make everything so that you have the best time in or around Ojochal.

We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The owners are the most hospitable and kind people who make you feel so welcome and comfortable as if you're staying with family you haven't seen in a long time. The place has everything you can think of and it's close to a little market as well as some restaurants (within walking distance).

Great ocean views with direct access to the beaches of the national park, nice restaurant and breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, they really take care of their guests.

The owners were very kind. The breakfast excellent. The rooms offers a lot of private. The hole property is in excellent shape.

Great location that wasn’t too far from the national park. Very clean, cozy, and private. The pool is always warm and it has lights for you to stay in it until 9PM.

Delicious food and decent portions

Tana is the nicest host and Sofie is the sweetest paw friend. Sofie likes hanging around with us and she was very gentle and well behaved towards our small kids. The place is close to restaurants and supermarkets, and a walking distance to the main road and to a natural stream. It is also close to a waterfall and close to nature in general. Our cabin had an AC and a fan to circulate the cold air to the rooms (we had 2 bedrooms in our cabin). We had a functional kitchen and a fridge in our cabin and there is also a shared one outside. The pots and pans were new and so were the plates and cups. We prepared meals in our kitchenette with ease. The place is old but spotless. The beds are comfortable and the linens and curtains are of high quality. The towels were older but clean and soft. We wished there were screens on the bathroom and kitchen windows so we can open them without letting bugs and mosquitos in. Not a big deal though. We managed😀. Hooks to hang towels would have been nice😊but again it's not a big deal. We were creative and resourceful so were fine. Putting chairs inside would have crowded the area so we sat on the sofa bed to eat our meals. We used the cute coffee table and and bedside tables to make a makeshift dining table. Again, we were very adaptable and resourceful to stay on top of any situation. We could have sat outside too on the shared area. There was a construction going on in the neighborhood but it did not bother us because we were up early and almost were not there during the day. Tana is the new owner and she is really making an effort in turning an old place look nice and feel comfortable. She makes sure you feel at home. She is still in the process of making everything perfect and we wish her the very best of luck.
