This is what lodging is and should be. Wow. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings, walk ways, and perfectly appointed rooms in separate cabins. But most notably is the quality and the warmth of the team, led by Mr Hadley. The level of service and communication is truly superior and we always felt at home. They spared nothing to ensure we were comfortable, active, well fed and in great company. Really, thank you.

Everything about the place felt like a dream. So calm and peaceful and the lady of the property is absolutely fantastic.

The food varieties provided tasted really good, the calm environment with the lake view is really amazing also the service given was very friendly and professional.

Great staying in a tent before our safari adventure. We went to sleep to the noise of thousands of insects!! It's a great glamping experience! We arrived at around 6:30pm in the dark and rain and were straight away whisked off to our tent. We asked that evening if we could have a packed breakfast for 5am the next day and straightaway the answer was yes.

We enjoy so much our stay here. Appu and his family are great, and the food was amazing. I totally recommend it!

This quiet little cottage was a perfect place to base ourselves for a few days while we explored Yala, Lunugamvehera, Udawalawe, and Ella. Our hosts, Gayan and his family, went above and beyond to ensure we had a happy and comfortable visit, and we were honored to be their first guests through Booking.com. Their kindnesses included such touches as providing us with limes from their own tree and preparing us a special breakfast (including delicious milk rice) on our first day. They also showed us around town and even helped my friend find a shop that had some particular things she was looking for. The property itself is cozy and beautiful. If you sleep in the front room (the one with the king bed and small bed), you can fall asleep to the sounds of the distant sea even with the windows closed. If you prefer a more silent night, you will find that in the back room (the one with the loft bed). The front room opens to the outdoor living space you see in the photos. It is a beautiful place to sit with your morning coffee or to relax in the afternoon. The back room and the kitchen open to the outdoors, and there is a paved walkway connecting the back room, the kitchen, and the outdoor living space. There are friendly dogs who will hang out with you on the property, but they do not enter the porch/living area or the rooms. They are sweet, calm, pleasant company. There's a good restaurant next door, which is convenient for dinner. You could cook in the well-prepared kitchen, but we did not do this during our stay. We also did not walk to town, although you probably could. The hosts are planning to add a couple more rooms to the property over time, but for now, it's just this one perfect little cottage. Much as the name suggests, Garnet Yala Beach truly is a gem. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place near the parks who wants a peaceful beachy spot hosted by a lovely family.

We had an amazing stay at Yala Green Eco Lodge! The location is perfect just a short distance from the entrance of Yala National Park, making it super convenient for early morning safaris. The lodge itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and eco-friendly atmosphere. The pool was fantastic, very clean and a perfect relaxing spot after a long day of exploring. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. What truly made our experience special was the incredible staff. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well located place to stay near Yala, I highly recommend Yala Green Eco Lodge! Would stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

White Sand Bungalow is a really nice place to stay. The owner is super friendly and helpful. The garden is big and beautiful, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is delicious, especially the local dishes. The safari par is 20 minutes away white the jungle starts about 500 m from the property. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Yala National Park. Best value for money!
