Very comfortable beds. It was quiet and close to the ski lodge, very convenient for the snow activities.
Staying at the lodge was a wonderful experience for me and my family. My kids had a blast in the pool and under the sweltering heat of July it was more than welcome. The lake (we didn't try the kayaks) and the whole surroundings are very beautiful. All in all: great stay and a good resting place to visit Shenandoah National Park.
Food at the lodge was great. Nice peaceful location, pretty scenery. House was roomy and kitchen very well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Hiked some and enjoyed that, then it poured rain until we left but still had a good family time playing games and snacking. The little store was close to our farmhouse and was very nice.
the cabins were so cute! the lodge had a pool and an arcade which was so fun!
Lodge located on very attractive campus in rural setting with horses in the adjacent pasture Spacious and well/equipped exercise room Pool/spa/fire pit/game room areas very welcoming Our bed was excellent, ie. firm, thick mattress
