Lodgings in Näfels

I spent two weeks here during my classes in Näfels and had a wonderful experience. The studio was comfortable, well-kept, and perfect for my needs. What stood out most was how generous and welcoming Ursi was, it really made me feel like at home. I’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

Rolf and Jeannette were such gracious hosts. It was really nice to get to know the Swiss couple and stay in a Swiss house in local neighborhood. So much better than staying in a hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and the bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean. The view from the bedroom into the Glarus Alps are amazing. If you like mountain hiking this is a great location to use as a base.

The location just a few minutes from the train station was wonderful.IItt also had an elevator. It's simple but clean room was comfortable and quiet.

Clean, comfortable, and well furnished.

The location was great once we figured it out. You park at the bar and walk across the street for approximately 5 minutes toward the house with the red shutters. (Do not try to drive there or you will get lost). My dad and I had a beer at the bar. (small local bar with good local beer). The beds were very comfortable. You walk in the house and straight ahead is the stairway up to the 2 bedrooms. To the side, is a small kitchen. It has a small oven, stove, dishes, pots, and pans. The shower has good hot water and water pressure. There is a washing machine, but we did not use it. It's a small space but perfect for 2-3 people. I went with my parents, who are in their 70s and had a very nice visit. You are in a valley and can see the mountains all around you. We had a great meal at the Italian restaurant (Ristorante Tris) and enjoyed Heididorf (not to be confused with Heidi land).

The view is stunning! The food is very fresh, and local produced.

Hosters are very gentle and kind

Smooth check-in check-out, apartment has everything as described, with washing machine inside the apartment, microwave, everything new and clean, with very good communication and care shown by the host.. The area is quiet and we could get a good sleep. a few blocks close to the railway station, Coop and Migros. You have the opportunity to discover the whole region and each day arranged for a different excursion (Braunwald, lake Klontalersee, lake Walensee, Unterterzen,). "Rodelbahn" fans have 2 nice options: in the area, Floomzer (which I prefer) and Pradaschier. And if you want to take a bath you have many options on lake Walensee. A perfect choice for summer activities.

Panoramic wiev is unbelievably perfect. House located in very quiet and peaceful area. Clean and in a good condition. Kitchen has almost everything you need.

The location was easy to and from the train. Rahel was extremely kind and communicative. The house was exactly as described. Super comfortable gorgeous space. Wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived in the dark and woke up to a mountain out of the window. Such a cool first night in Switzerland experience.
