Lodgings in Sólor

This place is absolutely beautiful, done with good taste. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom nice, the breakfast good, really tiny pool but enough if you want a dip. Super quiet. We had a car, which is good because it is quite outside of San Pedro, but we really loved it. Definitely recommend it. Also, the woman working there is LOVELY.

The luxury tents make an excellent accommodation. Love the llamas specially, the baby llama.

We liked absolutely everything here. Friendly guys, clean room, kitchen with full equipment and hot water! That’s all what we need on our trip 🙌

The owner was very kind, helpful and generous. The house was very spacious and comfortable. The location was in a safe neighborhood, close to town with easy highway access to area attractions. You could walk in the neighborhood and see great views of the volcanos. At night if you walk just a little ways from the house, it is dark enough to do star gazing right from the property.

Location unique and Paola excellent

The property was stunning and great for a group. We loved getting to experience the traditional architecture.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay. The cabana is just outside of San Pedro in Solor. Upon arrival we were greeted by the kindest host we have ever met: Eugenio. There are 3 cabins and Eugenio and his wife live just next to it. Let’s start with the cabins: it looks brand new. It has everything you need, kitchen is fully equipped. Water is nice and warm. It is stocked with snacks and water. Outside there are hammocks and the garden is super tranquil. Exactly what we needed after our busy days. Whatever we would need Eugenio would help us with. His kindness and helpfulness made the stay the best we have had in our 3 months trip in South America. Location is great for stargazing and it’s very close to Valle de la Luna.

The place was great, so long as you have a vehicle to get to the town. It's a few kilometers out of town but that didn't matter to us as we enjoyed somewhere quiet (and away from town lights to see the stars). It was easy to drive in for dinners and whatever else we needed, but isn't in all action if that's the vibe you want. It was on a large property that had some rooms and "tiny houses". We weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into as the road leading to the rental felt very rural and bumpy (which was part of it's charm as one day we had a flock of sheep in front of us). We stayed in one of the 'tiny houses' which were so comfortable, had a stove/kettle and fridge, and was cleaned daily. We were out most days but it was nice place to come back to to relax before going for dinner in town. Pro Tip: If you stay in one of the the 'tiny houses/mobile homes' you have to turn on the hot water in bathroom before your shower. Very easy once you know this. Only breakfast is served, no other meals. Breakfast was basic but good (eggs, toast, yogurt, cereals, ham/cheese) and the coffee was good. The host didn't speak English but with Google Translate it was easy, she and her husband seem like very kind people. It's not a fancy place but we loved it and the price was better than so many places we were looking at.

Casita La Brea was the perfect place for us to stay during our visit to San Pedro de Atacama. Raphael and Ian were fabulous hosts. We were not in the area for very long, so our days were packed with activities. Ian had all kinds of suggestions and tips for things to do, as well as what not to do or be aware of, which was super helpful. I would think if you arrived with nothing on your schedule, Ian would have you seeing the best the area has to offer in no time. It was amazing to walk outside each night and feel like we were among the stars. The Casita was clean, inviting and had everything we needed for our stay, and then some! I only wish we had had more time to relax and take in the magnificent views while sipping our morning coffee as the view was spectacular. Highly Recommend Casita La Brea for your stay in San Pedro

We had an amazing time with Nacho at his place! We shared food, wine & stories! The location is beautiful with hammocks and an outdoor kitchen. We were able to use bikes to get to and from town which made getting groceries very easy. Nacho was a great host, very accommodating, helpful and generous.

Beautifully maintained lodge, clean, comfortable and so relaxing after busy days exploring. It’s a quick drive from town and super quiet and felt very safe. The staff were phenomenal and made sure we had everything we needed - even updating us on what attractions were open each day. The pool and lounge area were also great! I am celiac and allergic to dairy and they went above and beyond to ensure I had breakfast and desert options. The breakfast they served each day was amazing! The minibar and laundry service were both very reasonably priced which we appreciated.

The most friendly and accommodating hosts we have ever had. They helped us plan and organize all day trips, attended to any questions we had and even shared some wine for new years celebration. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This place was absolutely fantastic! Located outside of San Pedro it is as quiet as a desert. It only takes to go outside to see the stars at night. It is relaxing and comfortable, to chill after trekkings. Hosts are charming and friendly.

The night sky is perfect in this place. Staff is nice!
