Lodgings in Fischbachau

The staff was extremely welcome and helped us with non typical requests. The place and view from the windows are nice. The mattress is purposely stiff which is good for the back. The value for money was exceptional during our stay in December during school holidays.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but very charming and exactly what we expected.

Location is close to many great hiking spots and many good restaurants. Overall easy to reach, parking is provided. There is a grocery store in walking distance, which makes getting food for breakfast easy. Perfect for travel as a couple or with friends.

Our host are the best hosts anyone could ever want. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Their daughter speaks perfect English. She even shared time showing our granddaughter how to ride her horse. This is a beautiful family. I highly recommend staying in their apartment rentals.

The room was very comfortable. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast and dinner were tasty. The children's play area was sufficient for the little ones. The view was beautiful.

Amazing views. Never took a cable car to a hotel before-it was easy to navigate without much of a wait up or down. We did overshoot the parking area for the cable car. Desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Food was good and the luge was a fun treat

The breakfast here is truly amazing. I know it's not necessarily the most important thing when it comes to booking hotels, but you should know that you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't check it out at least one morning. The rest of the hotel is also great, nice clean rooms in a gorgeous location. The place has recently been renovated and we would highly recommend it. We'll definitely stay here again.

I visited this hotel in 2023 for lunch. It was wonderful and they have my favorite white wine -- Thorsten Krieger. I wanted to stay here at the hotel and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful small village and the hourly train took me to the lakes where I could hike. This village is also known for their hiking, a waterfall where people bathe. Early December was not the peak season so I was given a huge double room that has an extra little sitting room with bottled water, a plate filled with cookies and milk chocolate (replaced every morning). The breakfast was wonderful and I also received personal service, making scrambled eggs to my liking. The staff spoke perfect English and they were super friendly. I would love to stay there again. The guests get a ticket for free and discounted activities -- heated pools -- and they also have a free sauna at the hotel. There is much more to tell.

I stayed here for 5 days and absolutely loved it — this was actually our second time at this beautiful place, and it felt just as perfect as the first! The location is stunning, peaceful, and very well maintained. My husband spent the entire stay in comfort, and everything was exactly as expected — if not better. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
