Lodgings in Tunis

It feels like you are literally in the HEAVEN!

The property was very clean, comfortable, great location and beautifully decorated and designed. Mohammed, the owner was very welcoming, hospitable and friendly. He assigned Mahmoud, to be with us all our stay and take us around the village and help us with anything we needed. Both Mohammed and Mahmoud were great, we spent a wonderful evening with them around the fire. I highly recommend this property.

Great location and the staff is amazing!

My experience at the Palm Shadow Hotel in Tunis was more than wonderful, and it truly deserves a 10/10 rating. My wife, our two children, and I swore by it; the stay was comfortable and enjoyable in every detail. This isn't my first visit, but it has become my favorite destination in Fayoum, thanks to the consistently high level of service and comfort it offers every time. The first thing that distinguishes the place is its pleasant tranquility, which provides a genuine sense of relaxation and escape from the pressures of life. It's relatively quiet and ideal for families seeking a cooler climate. The standard was very high, both in the private and public rooms, with attention to detail every day. The room was suitable for everything we needed as a family. As for the food, it was a truly special experience, especially the all-inclusive meal of local quail, which was excellent, wonderful, and authentic for us in the beautiful countryside. The all-inclusive meal was varied and delicious, suitable for Indian adults, and presented with high quality and attention to detail. The cooperation was exceptional, especially from Mr. Mina, who was incredibly kind and courteous, always available to help with a smile. All the staff were friendly, professional, and dedicated to ensuring guest comfort. The entertainment options were varied and enjoyable, which we and our children used throughout our stay, making it an integral part of any relaxing moment. Frankly, the Palm Shadow Tunis Hotel offers a perfect blend of tranquility, quality service, and delicious food, making it an ideal choice for families. It will continue to be my favorite destination in Fayoum.

The place is very clean calm and comfortable compared to the area outside, I didn’t expect it to be so nice and beautiful

The atmosphere and swimming are amazing! The swimming pool gives lots of privacy.

Big well equipped & well maintained & clean Villa that accommodates 4 or 5 families. The location is excellent in the heart of all Tunis Village Attractions & Restaurants. Highly Recommended for family groups.

The villa has a fascinating view overlooking the lake, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Its location is excellent, right in the heart of Tunis Village, making it easy to reach restaurants, cafés, and other attractions. Everything was well organized. My family and I had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, excellent value for money, very pleasant helpful staff

A very comfortable stay, with super good vibes. The host is amazing, she will guide you on the best things to do in Fayoum and arranging it.

Everything was nice except pool was very cold

At the tail end of a 3 week stay in Egypt we decided last minute to visit Tunis. It was high season there (December) and all of the top-rated hotels were completely booked. We stumbled upon this listing and are so glad we did! Everything was wonderful. The home was quaint and comfortable with excellent views of the lake. It's very well kept, clean, and everything works as it should. The house keeper, Ahmed was very friendly and eager to helpl. Gamal (the owner) was easy to contact and had us setup with last minute excursions. The whole family had a blast. Our short stay in Tunis was so much fun, there's so much to do and see. We plan to be back, and will book Sunhouse again without hesitation. Highly recommended!
