Location is beautiful! Adorable room. Heated towel rack. Hot chocolate packets and electric tea kettle. Towels are huge which is soooo soo nice! Loved the attention to detail.

The entire experience was exceptional

It had great views, the breakfast was delicious and they give you the possibility to buy lunch (that is a complete sandwich, fruits, water and sweet treat) for a good price, so that you can eat while visiting Skye. The location is great, near the city but with privacy, and the hosts are really friendly!

The entire experience was just magnificent. Mairi and Andrew were excellent hosts, the room was very comfortable with great amenities, and the breakfast was spectacular! This is a perfect accommodation for anyone visiting Skye - the location makes everything in Portree a short walk away, including the lovely Scorrybreac trail. The unique touch of hallway whisky really made it feel like we were at home away from home!

Staying at Stonefield House was such an amazing experience for us on our trip. Our room was spacious and well appointed, we didn't want for anything. The innkeeper and her daughter were both super pleasant and happy to give recommendations. We had so many good conversations and the location is perfect to walk into Portree. I very much did not want to leave on the day we departed! I cannot recommend Stonefield House enough. The breakfasts were fantastic and really helped us to kick off the day.

Amazing and enchanting property. You look over to the west and see the outer Hebrides, while staying in beautiful rooms and a historic home central to the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie! Plus a 1000 year old monastery ruins in the middle of a drained loch just a short walk from the house. Amazing food, and such delicious local cuisine and ingredients! Thank you SO much to Ruta for making my stay magical, and showing me a path down to the beach to explore, swim, and see some fossils!

The location was lovely! Given, you kind of need a car to arrive or have to be very sporty to walk to Potree. The location is also good becacuse it is quite central on the island. And Portree has pubs and a supermarket. It is a house in a lovely natural plane with not many other houses around, and you reach it via a dirt road that branches off the small local road. It is the home of a lovely couple who rent a few rooms on the upper floor. The window from our room had such a beautiful highland/wetland/nature view. There was tea/coffee equipment in the room and a fridge outside. The hosts are a super nice couple. They provided a vegan breakfast for us that was nothing short of amazing - thank you for that. And were always willing to help us out.

This is a really nice house simply and tastefully furnished with all that we needed for our short stay. It was presented spotlessly clean and with everything needed for our stay. The location is very central.

- Location - within 10 mins walk of everywhere you want to go to in Portree - Big 2 bedroom apartment - very well appointed spacious - Location - overlooking the Loch and the public parking - Clean and very well stocked - spotless and perfect for a long self-catering stay - Location - just above a brilliant pizza place - Easy check-in - lock box code provided for seamless self check-in and lastly .... LOCATION!!!!! A special shout out to Kamil, the host, who was extremely accommodative about our plan changes.

We only booked 2 hours prior and all went well . We were driving through winter and there was parking just across the road from hotel which was available as part of the hotel for free first in .. so lucky for us . Great position .. walking distance to everything .. small town .. great pub by the pier for drinks… Pier Hotel .. restaurant was closed in winter but had a fabulous meal at Tingadale Hotel .. fabulous Haddock and also Mac Cheese just like the good old days . Highly recommend for a quick visit / overnight on Skye ⛄️☀️

Everything. The breakfast was amazing. The room was really clean and the location is great.

Everything about it was just perfect. We check out then checked in again and changed our itinerary to stay an extra 2 days. Superb!

Beautiful decor. Soft furnishing were lovely. The room was spotless, smelled amazing and even had a bowl of fresh moss. I will be stealing the design ideas for my own bathroom renovation! Was great to have freshly ground coffee in the fridge. I had a really cozy morning dinking good coffee and looking at the view from the window. Wifi was good too.

Nice location and very good reception people

5 star property, very spacious, owner has given a lot of thought for every element. From designer pillow covers to high class/ expensive toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, clean tub with automatic windows. Everything was seamless. Its very well designed, all the light fixtures, handles are all luxurious brass material gives a 5 star hotel theme. It was very clean , this won’t regret you.Overall love it, this is one of best hotels experience for me so far with that price point, kudos to the owner, thank you

The location was great. The view was amazing.

The apartment was easy to find and convenient located a short 8 minute walk from town. There was a parking spot for us right out front and our host met us to give us the keys and even baked us a loaf of bread. The rooms were very spacious and had many towels and bathroom amenities like body wash and shampoo. I loved that each of the 4 bedrooms had its own bathroom.

It was like a home stay. Tony was an excellent host. He even let us do our laundry. Very accommodating and personable!

Amazing breakfast homemade by the Roses! You get a menu the day before which you can select the items you want- you won’t be left hungry! The homemade yogurt was amazing- the other reviews don’t lie! The Roses have literally thought of everything you could need and want! So many extra little touches. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to isle of skye!

Extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast items left for us. Accessibility to restaurants/pubs was excellent. Overall the apartment was amazing.
