Lodgings in Mystras

The views and accommodations were our favorite on our roadtrip in Greece so far. The staff were very welcoming! The breakfast served to the room was unique and absolutely wonderful with the local cuisine and foods. The location for the archeological site was a five minute drive.

Retro style hotel that has the best location in Mysra.

Amazing place, nicely decorated, very clean, great location, comfortable, right in the center of the village of Mystras, just 5 minutes to Sparti and 3 to the castle by car.

This is a beautiful place, an oasis! You walk in the lovely entry into a beautiful garden. The bedrooms and breakfast room are decorated with mural paintings. It also has the best bed, most comfortable mattress I slept on during three weeks in Greece. The breakfast is excellent and varied. There is parking and it is 5 minutes walk to restaurants. I would stay here again.

I absolutely loved this place. The host was very communicative, straight to the point, and very accommodating. I had asked to set up the sofa bed and to heat up the place in advance, and this was so huge (in colder winter months). The place was super clean, comfortable, with a lot of offered treats, even a wine bottle. All these touches made the experience very special. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more. The little town is also super cute!

Το Mystras Panorama House είναι ένα υπέροχο κατάλυμα που ικανοποιεί πλήρως τον επισκέπτη που θέλει να εξερευνήσει εύκολα το Μυστρά και τη γύρω περιοχή αλλά, ταυτόχρονα να γαληνεύσει και να ξεκουρασθεί. Βρίσκεται δίπλα ακριβώς στα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος της περιοχής, παρέχοντας παράλληλα απόλυτη ιδιωτικότητα, ηρεμία και υπέροχη θέα. Είναι πεντακάθαρο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και διακοσμημένο με πολύ καλό γούστο και αισθητική που ταιριάζει απόλυτα στην αρχιτεκτονική και τη μαγεία του τόπου, ενώ διαθέτει ιδιωτική θέση parking. Ο ιδιοκτήτης, ο Βασίλης, έχει δημιουργήσει το κατάλυμα με πολύ όρεξη και αγάπη, δίνοντας ιδιαίτερη σημασία στην έννοια της φιλοξενίας με στόχο την ευχάριστη διαμονή και εξυπηρέτηση του ταξιδιώτη. Καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μας ήταν πολύ ευγενικός, διακριτικός και πρόθυμος να παρέχει τις απαραίτητες πληροφορίες και να μας βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειασθούμε, κάνοντας τη διαμονή μας ακόμη πιο ευχάριστη και όμορφη. Ανυπομονούμε να ξαναβρεθούμε σύντομα σε αυτό το υπέροχο μέρος!

The view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. The house is also very well designed, with lots of parking space, a roomy kitchen and large lounge area. The host was also superb, answering all questions quickly and even left us a cake!

A traditional Greek house with a very friendly English speaking family living below; located on a quiet street with a parking spot in front; clean and well-prepared apartment; nicely equipped kitchen; screens all around; good WiFi; lots of kitties; large sunny terrace with a direct view of the Mystras fortress (illuminated at night); ruins only a few kilometers away.

Froso's Blue and Green Guesthouse has everything discerning travellers hope for...a perfect location, beautiful vistas, clean, comfortable furnishings, ease of access, privacy, and thoughtful, accommodating hosts. What sets this lovely house apart is that it is exceptional in all these things. We arrived during Storm Adel and Froso allowed us to check-in early so we could escape the downpour. Directions for parking and key collection could not have been easier. There were various treats left for us (thank you!!!) but Froso was concerned that we might not make it out for a meal due to the weather and arranged for a nearby restaurant to deliver!!! Of course we came to Mystras to see the UNESCO World Heritage site and while bad weather might dampen most travel plans, the views of the late Byzantine town from Froso's house are so spectacular that had we decided not to brave the rain and climb up to the castle the following day, we felt we would not have missed what we came to see. Along with the amazing views, the interior was so cosy and charming we were grateful for the rain. It gave us an excuse to stay in and just thoroughly enjoy the space. We especially appreciated how clean everything was, the large and fully-equipped chef's kitchen, the endlessly hot shower, speedy WiFi, comfortable beds, generous storage space, and the two balconies and a large dining terrace where we reveled in Mystras' beauty. I would recommend anyone coming to Mystras to stay a minimum of 2 or 3 days because there is much more to see and do beyond the archaeological sites. Froso provided us with all sorts of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in Mystras, Sparta and beyond. Phenomenal place, phenomenal hosts... highly recommend!

The property was so homey and clean. It was the perfect amount of space for 3 people and just overall so comfortable. The views were also amazing of all the mountains.

The location is beautiful, located in the midst of an olive grove. Very quiet and charming. The hosts could not be more considerate and thoughtful, and attentive to the needs of their clients.

The villa was spotless and well kept. We were 4 adults and 2 children traveling and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. There were a couple of restaurants right outside the house with great food. The host left 2 jars of olives, coffee, honey and even baked a cake. She was always in contact if we needed anything. Great place and would definitely stay here again.

The hospitality of our hosts made us feel like we were at our house.
