Lodgings in Balian

Gorgeous hotel set just back from one of the most spectacular beaches in Bali. We traveled with a group of families and the hotel staff were so welcoming and accommodating. They organised a sunset bonfire for us on the beach, complete with roast corn, marshmallows and cold drinks. We had a great time!

Quiet area, new rooms, very comfortable, staff are great

Had the most enjoyable time at Desa Cabins. If you're looking for a peaceful, private and quiet place in nature and away from the crowds, look no further. The location is beautiful and serene, with nothing but ricefields and palmtrees around. The six triangle shaped cabins are very clean, spacious, and designed very thoughtfully with an amazing outdoor bathroom at the backside. In the common pool area you can relax in the comfy sunbeds and gaze at the open space greenery with a direct view of the ocean and stunning sunsets. A wild black sand beach with hardly anyone around is a 2 minutes walk away. The host Oma and her team are lovely people who took great care of us during our stay, cooked us tasty local food and organized everything we needed. With a scooter or car you can easily reach closeby surfing spots (Balian, Medewi) or explore the natural surroundings (mountains, waterfalls, etc). We initially planned to stay for 5 nights end ended up staying almost 2 weeks because we enjoyed it so much. Really can recommend this place. Will be back!!

It's such a lovely place to stay. Extremely clean. Couldn't ask for more. I will always stay at The Pearl when in Balian

Location is great, staff is awesome and welcoming. Parking and facilities are meeting the expectations. The view from the room straight into the surf lineup, which is awesome! Will stay there again. Perfect place with garden and pool.

A perfect glamping feeling far from touristspots in a stunning natureside with the sound of waves and views over ricepaddies. 🤩 The host Ayu was so kind and organised a cartransport back to seminyak for 650.000 IDR/ 40 Euro.

A calm cosy place, where you feel like home, perfect for surfers of any level and anyone else, who wants to explore beaches and places nearby. The beach is just 4 minutes by foot, a lot of restaurants nearby. The owner is a pro surfer who has a surfing school! 🏄‍♂️ Have in mind!

What a serene place, tugged away from any street noise (the place is remote, but coming to Balian - you must be looking for a remote place to recharge, about 5-7 mins to the beach), beautiful place, stunning people, super kind owner and staff :) I will be back, thank you Jack, Made(?), and team! Drive through Tangguntiti to avoid some of the main road traffic (a super beautiful drive out there). The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. The room was cozy and clean.

Large space in the villa to accomodate all our 4 family members. The hosts did their best to help with various tips. We really enjoyed the breakfasts - they were amazing. We asked for 1hr and a half late checkout and this was accepted - big thanks for it! During a heavy rain - we noticed some drops in the roof - the host quickly intervened and addressed the issue. The facility is located in a quiet and authentic area.
