Friendly staff, secure parking with daily discount price. The room was warm and clean.
Excellent staff. Super clean. Great location, and a great breakfast!
Lovely comfortable room and the cafe was a bonus, excellent.
I like the location and facilities (fitness, swimming pool, sauna, etc). I like the friendly personnel.
We stayed at the Milk Market Inn for one night, and what started as our own booking mistake turned into one of the best accommodation experiences we’ve had. When we arrived, we realized we had accidentally booked a room with two single beds. The room itself was clean, fresh, and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and access to a kitchen. The young woman who checked us in was friendly and professional and immediately tried to help us find a better option. She contacted the manager, Hoise, who arrived within minutes. Although they were fully booked, he explained that he had a two-bedroom apartment about 10 minutes away beside People’s Park. He was upfront that it still needed to be cleaned after the previous guests, but said that if we liked it, he would have it cleaned straight away. Hoise personally drove us to the apartment and showed us three different options. He also made sure not to give our original room to someone else until we had seen the apartments and decided what we wanted. That really stood out to me — he could easily have just moved on to the next customer, but instead he made sure we were completely happy. He also offered us free parking under the building, which was a great bonus. The apartment was in a fantastic location, right beside People’s Park and close to plenty of restaurants. We had a huge window overlooking the park and it was surprisingly quiet. There was some noise from the garage door opening and closing, but we couldn’t hear it from the bedroom and it wasn’t an issue with the kitchen windows closed. The downstairs staircase could have been cleaner, but once Hoise and a member of his team finished cleaning the apartment, it was spotless. I’ve travelled quite a bit and stayed in hotels ranging from basic accommodation to five-star properties, and I have to say the level of personal service we received here was exceptional. Hoise went well beyond what was expected to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
The breakfast was excellent and lot of selection. Warm eggs. It was very filling. The coffee was good. There were fruits and cereals. The menu had good selections, something for everyone. They had someone carry my suitcase up and down the stairs for me. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm. Ususally I freeze in hotels.
Everything! It was so pretty when we arrived the manager met us and was absolutely lovely!!! Our room was beautiful and very clean. Our meals were perfect and the staff and service were impeccable! I can’t say enough, it’s a lovely little hotel and we would definitely return
Modern decor with cozy sitting area. The fireplace was perfect for warming up after rainy walk. Good location, close to everything. Responsive host.
The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the space to run around and the fire pit to roast marshmallows. We will definitely be staying again.
The location was wonderful and very peaceful. We sat on the deck every morning for coffee and in the evening had dinner, drinks and a small campfire. Beds were very comfortable. So lots of wildlife and farm life too! Loved it! If you like the outdoors and a quiet setting this is the spot. Great for stargazing! Still close to Adare, Limerick and Dingle Peninsula and are places we visited. Good weather was and added bonus.
Absolutely gorgeous property on an equally picturesque piece of land. A phenomenal host who truly makes you feel the warmth and love from Ireland
Ideal set up for our family celebration. It was perfect and had everything we needed. Maretta and Tony were the hosts of your dreams and provided us with everything we needed before and during our stay. We have so many fabulous memories made in the amazing barn conversion and having our own private bar.
What a lovely hotel; Arrived at 6pm having spent all day travelling (flights/car hire), was greeted very warmly by the reception staff who very kindly made a booking for the restaurant. Hotel is very "classy", lovely reception area, really nicely laid out. The room was great, super comfy bed, & the Rituals shower accessories was a classy touch. Food in the restaurant was delicious, lots of staff on duty who provided a very friendly service. Car park had loads of spaces, & the lift takes you right up to the reception area. This, & its sister hotel in Galway, are both superb hotels, & I'll definitely be staying in them again.
Everything about the place. I had a fab time. the food was yummy. the staff were fab. What more can I say.
Location is smack in the middle of town, proximity to everything is great. Being there on other paddy’s day it was perfect staggering distance back to the hotel.
Location, clean and wonderful breakfast and bar
Location was perfect for us, property was very clean and modern and staff were all so friendly
The hotel has all the facilities you would need, with plenty of space in the rooms and helpful staff.
I had stayed at the Absolute Hotel before, so when the opportunity to visit Limerick again presented itself, I really didn't consider any other hotel. It's wonderful! On this trip, we were surprised with an upgraded room and it made our stay even more memorable and comfortable. The hotel is in a terrific location right on the river, and you can walk from there to King John's Castle, the churches, the Treaty Stone, Locke's Bar, and probably anywhere else you want to go. We appreciated our stay very much and hope to return again before long. Even in a "regular" guest room (which I enjoyed on my first visit), this is a stellar hotel!
We loved the setup of the reception/breakfast area - very clever use of space! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic value and very delicious! Would definitely stay again if in Limerick.
Beautiful setting. Nice restaurant and bar. Pleasant an efficient staff
Just out of town near a shopping centre Your. Normal big hotel Great pool and gym connected
Rooms and beds very clean and comfortable. Restaurant had great choice. And food was exceptional. A special mention has to go to the staff, they were incredible- so friendly, helpful and great attitudes. The hotel management should be very proud to have such a fantastic staff.
Lovely lobby & restaurant. The room was updated and nicely appointed.
The hotel gave us a major suite at the end of a very long day of travelling. It is a superb hotel with great food and welcoming staff. We felt cared for. The breakfast was superb, great staff, great food and a variety of options. It has been a highlight of our trip so far.
Outstanding accomodation impeccably presented. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable rooms, with excellent communal kitchen/dining/lounge shared with three other rooms in the block. I was nervous thinking this may have been student accommodation rented out during break time, but it is not. Much higher standard rooms they use for visiting academics and families, and let out commercially when not being used. Access to oarking on site was not an issue.
This gorgeous boutique hotel in the 'Georgian' district of Limerick, just around the corner from the People's Park, was a wonderful refuge from the cold and rainy weather. It was so comfortable we practically holed up in our room for the whole weekend. Tea / coffee was complimentary and brought up in proper teapot with home-made biscuits. Fabulous bathroom with a full size bath and large shower. Toiletries provided were by Voya - the same as in the spa, which we didn't take advantage of, but should have - were a luxurious touch. Breakfast was thoroughly civilised. Instead of a free-for-all buffet options could be chosen from the small but perfect menu and prepared fresh by the chef. Decor was wonderful. Beautiful wall papers and upholstery fabrics in our bedroom and in all common areas such as the Long Room dining room. Fabulous to have such a good restaurant on-site, specially as the weather was bad. Free parking in the hotel's secure parking area on a side street near the hotel was also very much appreciated.
A step back in time with small details from times past kept, but modern things added. Amazing place to stay.
