Lodgings in Lecco

Was very lucky to have 6-bed room just for myself - that definitely added to my pleasure of staying here. Wish could stay longer but they were fully booked around my dates - so my advice : book as early as u can! Cause u will not find anything remotely as good as this hostel anywhere near Como lake! Everything is very clean and well-thought. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything u need. Washing machine and dryer are 4€ each. The girls at the reception are very welcoming and would advise you where to go in Lecco and around. Actually I really loved this small town - wish to come again for a longer stay. You can also do cycling and go up the mountain - which I had no time for unfortunately :(( There's a bus from the train station to the hostel, but I enjoyed walking 1km a little uphill, but the road is really nice. Was a very good breakfast and a welcome drink. Even 2 towels are provided free - which is rear for most hostels. A, and they make the croissants themselves - never in my life I tried anything that could compare to them! - so light and crispy - they just melt in your mouth (I think I gained a couple of kilos because of them :))

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Moderno in Lecco and would absolutely return. The location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the train and bus stations and about 8 minutes from the beautiful lakefront, restaurants, cafés and bars. There are also plenty of conveniences nearby, including a great salon right next door. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning, a nice breakfast and, most importantly, genuinely kind and accommodating staff who were always happy to help. Because the hotel is centrally located, you should expect some normal city noise, but the windows close well and the room can be made quiet and dark for sleeping and the hotel is automatically locked in the evening with access only through keycards for safety. I was in Lecco for work while visiting and evaluating properties for clients, and this is exactly the type of hotel I feel comfortable recommending because of its location, cleanliness, comfort and excellent service. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so pleasant and for being so kind to myself and my dog. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect. The restaurant, the breakfast, the people are very very nice.

This one was not located among the other units. My review is for the apartment on the first floor*** (separate from the others that are a bunch of units alike (you will get it when you go there)) .. it was great! awesome for he price.. is kind of on a hill but public transportation reach it until 10pm depending on the day

A charming, historic villa surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. We had a spacious room with enormous windows & fast wifi.

The Host is incredibly polite and helpful, any question I had or any issues I encountered helped me throughout the way, thanks a lot for receiving me with such a short notice!, The place has an incredible view, all essentials and stores are incredibly close, the house is cleaned and has all the things you expect/need. The place is well kept and cleaned.

The room was great, it was big and clean, very comfy. The host was nice and friendly. The location was ok too, the center was within a short walk.

I loved the location - you just need to cross the road to be on the promenade along the lake and walk with beautiful views. We stayed in a (no view) room in main building, the room was spacious, with extra small-sofa and the desk which is very useful when you stay a couple of days. The breakfast was okay: basic options aka "extended continental breakfast" - with ham, cheese, boiled eggs etc. The towels replacement is clearly described and happens according to those rules. Stuff was friendly and helpful, e.g. we could leave our bags before check in without any problems, we were offered help to carry suitcases up the stairs by one young man which was very nice and (to be honest) uncommon {we didn't use the help but much appreciated!}

Centrally located, easy to walk to water, center, train station, boat rides. Spacious and clean. Little courtyard and balcony. Breakfast included. Serena was very sweet and accomodating.

The apartment is located near a bus stop that takes you downtown. The apartment is quite spacious, however the air conditioning system didn’t seem to be working properly, and you cannot change the settings.

The location, the cleanliness and the space of the room

Hotepl is very clean with very nice decoration, staff is very friendly.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. The cabin has everything needed to prepare meals, the air conditioning/heating system works well, and, the hot water in the shower was a bless during our May vacation. The best is the view, it's by the lake, we truly enjoyed the days we were there. Reading the other reviews, we knew there would be noise due to the train/road nearby. Location is also good, with easy access to the train station nearby. We would definitely would stay here again when visiting the region.

The receptionist was very helpful and nice. I would recommend this place to anybody .

The location is really good. The hosts are very friendly. The bathroom was clean. P.S. the beach is not really private. There is just a nice beach across the street.

The room was beautiful and clean, new renovated. It was a charming place,a small terrace cozy (photo) , a comfy bed.it was a really cozy stay! We loved the location also!
