Lodgings in Melfi

Excellent location and excellent amenities.

The location was central to everything and very walkable to so many places. The accommodations were comfy cost and in a quiet neighborhood. We received vouchers for breakfast at the café around the corner. The croissants were delightful. There was one minor issue, but it was immediately taken care of to our full satisfaction. We also stayed here 2 years ago. The hosts are very friendly and caring. They communicate very well!

It is a modern structure, with pool in the middle of a vineyard, beautiful views all around. Very clean and functional rooms. Great breakfast.

Very clean, close to everything

Friendly host appeared in person, showed how to work locks. Big room and bathroom. Adjacent kitchen.

Clean, quiet, and the staff were accommodating. The dinner was excellent as well, as was the breakfast. The cheese selection at breakfast was one of the best on our five-week road trip through Italy. You could easily tell the staff cared about their guests’ experience, and we even got some help carrying our luggage.

Great location. Clean, clean, clean. Air conditioning worked well. Quiet and private room.

The booking.com information on the property lists “free parking, on-site” as a feature of the property. In our opinion “on-site” is misleading and should be removed. When we arrived, there was no parking space available in front of the apartment and the host suggested that we drive around the neighborhood (very narrow curvy streets) to see if we could find a parking space. We didn’t stay.

The host, Giorgio, was great. Highly recommend staying here. The apartment was very roomie and it had everything we needed.

I think this is the closest available stay to the Melfi Castle. It was charming and clean, had plenty of breakfast in the morning and a balcony overlooking a small square.

I liked Melfi—the charming town, the wonderful archaeological museum in the castle full of masterpieces, and the kindness of the owner, who welcomed me even though I arrived late in the evening and directed me to the excellent Ristorante Lucano

The location above a great restaurant was perfect! The accomodations of towels per guest was sufficient and good showers. The breakfast set up was decent with a croissant laid out the night before for the guests at each place setting.
