Great view of Matera. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was within walking distance of the historic city.

Wonderful location within the very heart of Matera, very beautiful and unique property, a real treat for guests. Breakfast is really exceptional, very varied with salty and sweet specialties. The staff makes you feel home, they are extremely kind and friendly and five great advices, if asked, about what do do, see and where to eat in town. The prices are reasonable and one really gets the best out of every cent. This has probably been the best B&B ever in our holidays in ages! Really, really strongly recommended!

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh caffe anyway you like it. Roberto was a fantastic host. The location was excellent, in the heart of the Sassi. The price was great as well. Half the cost of locations just across the street without sacrifiing quality. Will stay there when we come back.

Everything, the owners did a thorough job welcoming us, explaining about the city, places to go where to eat, delicious breakfast and the rooms were soo comfortable and clean. We would definitely book again if we ever returned.

The room is extremely modern and I love that. The staff is super helpful and amazing. I sprained my ankle and they were very attentive to helping me out. They also were helpful with finding good places to eat dinner. Their breakfast is amazing. You have to try their Cornetto

Oh this place! I've read a couple of mixed reviews about it and was a bit unsure what to expect but to me this hotel was one of the best stays of my life. According to the staff, we were originally booked for a cave room but this was easily changed when we asked to switch for a one with a view (we stayed end of December, off season but still). The room was not large but perfectly enough and spotlessly clean. Sure the furniture was not the newest, but together with high wooden ceilings, double windows with a view of Matera and a shower build in a wall, it just added to the charm. Excellent breakfast. Warm AC. Overall, an amazing stay. Thanks Hotel Sassy team!

The caves are perfectly styles and very comfortable. The location is excellent.

The rooms and common areas were spotless, comfortably furnished, and filled with natural light. ​Breakfast was a highlight—served with excellent, attentive service that managed to feel wonderfully welcoming and family-like at the same time. ​Without a doubt, this hotel offers incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

Had a delightful stay here. Loved all the design touches as well as the landscaping. The staff and owners are very accommodating. Gave us early check in. You might be a little concerned driving up to the gate but a little slice of heaven awaits.

Beautiful location with clean and comfortable rooms. About 15 minutes from Matera so if you want to visit the "Sassi" and not deal with the crowds and noise, definitely suggest staying here. We did not try the restaurant but breakfast was very good and fresh. Personnel super friendly. There also common terraces where you can sit and sip a glass of wine during sunset and just relax and enjoy the scenery.

This is such a spectacular property set a few kms from Matera. The staff are total pros, service was impeccable and the environment so so relaxing. Pool is totally dreamy. A special nod to the chef - dinner was exquisite and inventive which was a welcomed change to the the standard fare of the region.

A great place to stay in Matera. Very close to the Sassis, central square and lots of restaurants nearby. Our room and bathroom were very neat and cozy. We had a lovely stay in Vicolo fiore Affittacamere ☺️☺️

Good room, fantastic location

Beautiful main building of the Masseria and beautiful surrounding grounds. We had a large room in one of the annexes. The staff was helpful, giving us very good information about visiting Matera. Very good breakfast. The entrance to the place is from a commercial street but once you are inside you experience beautiful and surprising views. Very good parking, Few minutes drive to historic area.

Magic location overlooking the old city. Exceptional breakfast. Warm and knowledgable staff. It truly felt like being transported back in time. I can't think of a single thing that could have been better! The attention to detail was extraordinary.
