Lodgings in Varenna

Breakfast was served in a cute restaurant below our apartment. The location was terrific. The building in which the apartment was located in was situated right on Lake Como, just like the picture. The spot is magical and Sina was a perfect host. He went out of his way to make our experience memorable.

Amazing, the room was incredible, the staff is the best. Gabriel the concierge is a rock star! I would Definetly go back! A dream come true

Room is spacious and super clean!! Location is excellent, you can walk down only 1 min to reach everything you need (grocery shop is across the property) would definitely stay here if I visit Varenna again.

Everything about this guest house is perfect. I loved my time in Varenna. The room was clean, comfortable and in a very good location. The gardner was very friendly and nice. It was fun talking with him about Varenna and the flowers he planted. Special thanks to Nicolo who escorted me to the castle, helped me find a nice restaurant to dine in and welcomed me with his warm hospitality. I had a lot of fun and would return back to Varenna for sure

Everything was excellent. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The view of Lake Como was absolutely breathtaking and made our stay unforgettable. Alessandro was extremely kind, friendly, and very helpful from check-in until departure. He responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Varenna, and I would definitely stay here again.

Renata and Antonio are very hospitable and helpful hosts. Wonderful breakfasts in the garden with a view of the mountains and lake. Comfortable bedroom with air conditioning and fridge. Great location 5 mins walk to ferries and just a little further to centre of town. A great place to stay!

Everything was very well thought of and the host was extremely helpful. The view was fantastic. We couldn't be happier.

Location was fantastic closer to the water ferry and to the train station , clean and easy to find . Perfect for people who can’t climb a lot of stairs.

Rosa House was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were supportive and cozy. The location, about a 30 minute walk from Varenna, turned out to be one of the highlights—this beautiful walk let us experience the area's stunning scenery up close. Roberto, the host, elevated the experience with his warm and generous hospitality. He offered complimentary pick up and drop off at the train station for our arrival and departure. I felt like we were staying with a thoughtful friend rather than an rental.

The location was excellent! The apartment was great and had everything we needed. The beds were nice and they provided us with closet space, extra pillows, etc. The kitchen was supplied and coffee and tea was available. The bathrooms were of a nice size with space to set your things. Maps, ferry schedules and recommendations were provided by the hosts which was perfect! Check out was so simple. We did drive to Varenna so we used the parking spot provided.

I liked the location, right next to a square and church and close to the hillside. The terrace view was wonderful for enjoying a quiet sunrise. I appreciated the availability of the lockers to store luggage. Deborah was great with communicating everything beforehand. The rooms and communal space and bathroom were spacious. I have never seen a hotel setup like this. I liked the antique decor. And windows that opened to the street below. I liked the complimentary breakfast at a local cafe in the square.

What a charming experience. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The town is delightful. I could see the lake from my comfortable room over a restaurant. There is an elevator. Fabulous location. I can't wait to return. I did not want to leave!

Right in the center of town with a beautiful view of the piazza. Danielle was friendly and helpful and made checkin easy and held our bags after checkout while we explored. The included breakfast at the bar downstairs was good and a nice way to start the day.

The balcony had a great view of the lake where I can relax and enjoy the sunset with my expresso.

The host Mr Attilio was amazing & very helpfull. He welcome us & explain details about the accommodation. The accommodation well equipped, extremely clean, beautiful & very spacious. It’s very closed to train station 5 min walk & 10-15 min walk to ferry station. We will recommend to everyone & will return for sure.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, beautiful view from the balcony

The view from the rooms facing the lake was magnificent, the best view of the lake from Varenna in my view. The host was very friendly and warm, offering great advice on how to travel in the area by boat.

Beautiful villa located in front of the train station and walking distance to the city center. Great views to the lake and mountain. The room was very big and comfortable. Very complete breakfast! Hosts were very kind.
