Lodgings in Tsuru

Location cannot be beaten. And value exceeded expectations. Cozy beds and surprise bananas and waters which were a nice touch for our Fuji hike. Self check in very easy and when we woke up Fuji was looking right at us. Literally steps from Kawaguchiko station.. Staff communication is through messenger only but they were responsive to our needs. I would use again.

Room was very spacious and the staff was very nice. Lots of vending options and cafe available.

Really good facilities, comfortable bed, simple check in. The owner is very nice and helped me to make sure I was ready for my hike in the morning. He was very patient with my English and taught me some Japanese!

We were only there overnight on our way to yakushima but the room was adorable, beds were comfy and private bathroom. The hotel had a cute common area and gorgeous surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was really great. Got the room for a really good price, the hotel room itself is lovely and we have everything we need in the hotel. The place was very clean and quiet. It’s not even crowded since we are the only guests inside the hotel. It is also close to the train station and tourist attractions.

It was just a gorgeous place. Quiet and beautiful. The garden was nicely kept.

The views are amazing we loved our stay

Right opposite of the Otsuki train station (visible from the station without the need of map). Though we could hear the train but it was not disturbing in the night. The room is new and pretty big for Japanese standard size. Around 5-min walk up hill to a huge supermarket Aeon and 7-11 stores. Self-service luggage storage facility that will fit all sizes. A view of Mt. Fuji from our room was blessing.
