Lodgings in Ballstad

I loved how easy going people were working there and they were too kind to upgrade our room.We liked the view on our window the most.Kitchen supplies were totally more than enough.

Staff is excellent, accommodation comfortable

Cute place converted from a fisherman's lodge. Nice water view. Kitchenette was a nice surprise.

Picturesque view, spacious dormitory, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, good shower

We spent three nights at Gammelbanken Seaview Suites and loved our stay. The modern apartment and beautiful sea views made it a lovely place to relax and enjoy Lofoten as a family. Ballstad was a great base for exploring, and coming back to the apartment was a pleasure each day. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Could see the aurora from my room!

Newer space , confutable bed, nice kitchen

It is like a small house which you have everything you need for staying in 4-5 days. The kitchen and wash-machine are there. The house is also very cosy and nice view nearby. We will come back again. 😊

Super helpful staff, spacious room, great facilities in kitchen. Little bit of noise through the walls, but nothing extreme. Overall a good place to say.

The amazing view, the interior, the well equipped kitchen, the good shower, the coziness of the living room, the location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are amazing and the home is very comfortable with everything you need. We would highly recommend this home to anyone thinking of visiting this area.

When we arrived we were welcomed by our host Ruben. He showed us around and explained they were doing some renovations. He was just finishing up with house cleaning and he did an exceptional job. The room was clean and very comfortable with great views. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. All the cabinets and drawers were labeled. Each room has a shelf for dried goods and a shelf in the refrigerator. Very well organized. It was very windy one day and the WiFi was knocked out, I wrote to Ruben and he immediately responded with a solution. Did I mention there is free laundry and detergent! The location was perfect, half way between all of the places we wanted to visit. Great restaurants in the area too! For the cost of our stay this was a great value. Thank you!

Amazing stay at this beautiful rorbu- we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Lofoten! Warm and responsive hosts, incredible location and views and the accommodation was perfect for our family. Super modern, clean and comfortable.

Great cozy cabin by the sea, just 5 minutes drive from a great hike. Helpful staff and comfortable place to stay.

Outstanding cabin in Ballstad very clean with everything that you need for a great stay. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect for day tripping around the islands. Even managed to get the Aurora on deck one night so pretty happy.

We loved everything about this dorm. It was very clean and comfortable and in a nice location, especially with a car pretty much anything that you need is very close to you. Even if you don't have a car there is a bus stop 5 minutes away. There is a nice view and one of the most beautiful hikes that we did 10 minutes away from the house. But above all, what we really enjoyed was the hospitality of the owners. Amazing people, very friendly and helpful and make you feel like home.

Stunning view (to include from sauna,) great hike right out front, and perfect location for exploring Lofoten to the west and east.

I liked the surrounding and location of accommodation

The photos don't really do this home justice. It was larger and way more modern than we expected. The latest in high end appliances. A wonderful Bosch built in coffee machine, but bring your own beans and milk. Kitchen basics were stocked. Excellent Wi-Fi. Huge deck. Wonderful view of the harbor and Ballstad Mountain. Staff was very helpful and responsive. Full second refrigerator, with a freezer, in the outside utility closet, along with a quiet washing machine. One of the nicest Booking.com homes we've ever stayed in.

Lovely cabin, very well appointed and so very very comfortable. Very clean, convenient and all around incredible stay

Best of kitchenette with items for use .

We chose this place to celebrate Christmas and it was undoubtedly the best decision. Despite the shorter days and darker times, we still enjoyed the spectacular view from the house's large windows. The house impressed us with its cleanliness and the comprehensive range of facilities provided. While we noticed the absence of a kettle, boiling water in a pot proved to be an adequate solution. The owners were proactive, providing all the necessary information well in advance and maintaining constant contact. The thoughtful Christmas sweet treat was a delightful bonus. The surrounding area is picturesque, enhancing our overall experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
