Lodgings in Lillehammer

The bed was extraordinary, the staff very nice and friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

Convenient location. Great breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, great location next to Olympic Park..10 minute walk to downtown

We really enjoyed our stay at Breiseth. It's very conveniently located: close to the city centre and the train station / bus terminal which makes going skiing around Lillehammer very easy. The decor is nice and arty, plus they got two lounges where you can sit by the fire. You can also book a sauna downstairs. The breakfast is truly exceptional!

Wonderful Hotel right in the city center. I am so sad that we stayed only 1 night. There are several.parking places with affordable prices around the hotel. The beds were heaven and the view from the window with a little rushing water creek was so romantic. The restaurant Ego was superb. They serve wonderful breakfast and even other menues of the day. If I ever come back again I will definitely stay in it again !

Super friendly staff Good food

My stay at Lillehammer City Hostel turned out to be far better than I expected — so good, in fact, that what was supposed to be one night became five. From the moment I checked in, Gina made the experience smooth and welcoming. She handled everything with warmth and clarity, and that first interaction set the tone for my entire stay. Tuna continued to be incredibly helpful — always available, always kind, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. It’s rare to find staff who genuinely care about travellers, and both Gina and Tuna made the hostel feel like a comfortable base rather than just a place to sleep. The facilities are brilliant: clean, organised, spacious, and perfect for a longer stay. And the price? You simply won’t find anything like this anywhere in Norway — especially not with this level of comfort and service. For someone heading toward Oslo to catch a flight, or just passing through Lillehammer, this hostel is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for travellers who appreciate good people, great value, and a stay that feels effortless from start to finish.

Ease of check in, guest kitchen and general comfort of the rooms

A verry warm and friendly location. Great value with the simpel but delicious dinner.

The location was great for exploring around the center of Lillehammer, being located practically on the "main street".

The location, you feel at home and the hostess is very friendly

There was a lot of room! Very clean, almost everything you need (no microwave, but that was no problem). Would be perfect for an extended stay.

The host, the luxury of the outdoors, the walking Kiwi, more than 5*

The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Very nice property with beautiful views and fun activities for children.

The most tastefully decorated loft I've seen. Loved the antique globe lamp that has the Soviet Union on it's map, because we had one like that at home when I was a child.

Everything was amazing! Till the last small detail! Location, facilities, equipment, view! Absolutely everything!!

Very nice house by the river. The tenants are very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is sparkly clean and spacious, perfect for a family trip!

It was very easy to get into the room compared to other self check ins.

Well-appointed. Great location. Quiet. Clean. Cute. Good value. Thank you!

Location was convenient and had parking.

Everything was great. Very clear and easy arrival instructions. Spacious well lit good communication from the house. Easy on site parking and a great location. Really enjoyed the Lillehammer bakery. We wish we could’ve stayed for a couple more days.

Fantastic location for cross country skiers

Nice place with everything you need.
