Lodgings in Guarda

Cleaning and staff were nice and friendly

I was taken by surprise at the beauty of this hotel. It is part of the historic tower in the center of town! The interior design is an architectual achievement beyond compare. You must stay there and explore the hotel. It is fabulous!

It was a well appointed room with everything one would need. My room was to the road but I didn’t hear the traffic noise. It was at the end of March so not at the height of the season so don’t know if that would make a difference. Breakfast had many choices and we also had dinner there which was good.

Good breakfast, room clean and big, huge bathroom. Sad, that we couldn't to use swimming pool and SPA, we arrived too late.

The staff were sooooo friendly and cheerfu! The rooms were nice and warm and very big. We arrived in December so even the hallways were heated. Everything was clean. Parking available on the premises.

There is lots of parking and the hotel is close to the motorway. They had a breakfast available in the main hotel building. There were 3 rooms to use; the bedroom, a bathroom and an entrance room which didn't have anything in it.

Amazing place, my experience with the hotel very positive, and Guarda itself very cozy and interesting city.

The room was very clean and simple. Staff was lovely. Location was perfect.

I am delighted to share my experience staying at the apartments. Our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The apartments provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a highlight for us, as it allowed us to prepare meals just like we would at home. We found all the necessary utensils and appliances, making cooking a breeze. It was wonderful to have the option to dine together as a family in the spacious living room, where we could also unwind and enjoy playing board games in the evenings. The bathroom was another standout feature. The large bathtub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring, and the convenient shower made getting ready hassle-free. The location of the apartments couldn't have been more convenient. With several restaurants nearby, we had plenty of dining options within walking distance. Additionally, being within a 20-30 minute drive from multiple resorts in Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, we had easy access to a variety of attractions and activities. Overall, our experience at the apartments was exceptional. The combination of comfort, convenience, and amenities made our stay truly memorable. We look forward to returning in the future.

Loved the beautiful landscape. Very tranquil. Staff was amazing very helpful and friendly.

Amazing territory Very clean house Silent location. They have a cafe on the opposite side of the street, but it closing at 8-10pm. So it’s very silent in the vending and night. Everything you need at the house - you have. It’s a very “home type” house. Feels like owners made everything for themselves so it’s very thoughtful in details.

Excellent location, welcoming and accommodating owner

Great experience at the Hotel, nice staff and stay was wonderful

The hotel was in a great location right in the middle of town walkable to everything. The room was great everything was clean and modern. Check-in was also extremely efficient and the staff was very friendly.

Want a historic experience and one of comfort? Look no further. The location is beyond perfect right in the heart of the historic district. Step just outside from your beautiful, immaculate, cared for accom, walkable to pasterlerias, tourist office who were indeed so helpful, a photographers delight just meander through the awe inspiring streets and see views to Spain! The hosts were joyful and ever so warm, you can see they focus on quality, and kindness, their restaurant recommendation of Belo Horizonte was Perfection! The building and our room transported us back in time. Their breakfast was perfection, leaving and reentering the building any time was as effortless as check in and check out was. We were thrilled about staying here we loved it, it all amounted to giving us such a taste of history. I felt honoured to have the whole experience. Thank you for having us!

Stepping into this hotel felt like entering a sanctuary, where modern comfort blends beautifully with charming architectural touches. From arrival, the thoughtful design and attentive service were evident. Our room offered both comfort and style, with a plush bed and generous space that matched the online photos. The bathroom stood out for its clean design, perfect water pressure, and a luxurious feel. The hotel’s shared kitchen, bright and well-equipped, was perfect for preparing meals or storing snacks. Despite an unusually hot spell, the efficient and quiet air-conditioning kept our room cool and welcoming after long days exploring the city. The location is ideal—just a 15-minute walk from the bus station and close to a mall with a small Auchan, making travel and errands simple. Service was exemplary. We needed early check-in, and the staff accommodated us with genuine warmth and efficiency, making a lasting impression. Throughout our stay, every interaction with the staff was friendly and helpful, whether offering recommendations or directions. The hotel’s proximity to the city’s highlights—cathedral, tower, castle, and tranquil parks—added to our enjoyment. Food lovers will appreciate the abundance of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood, making each day’s plans effortless. In summary, the gorgeous rooms, immaculate bathrooms, inviting kitchen, and outstanding hospitality created a memorable experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and genuine care during their visit.

The property was amazing! Very clean and comfortable, and spacious. I went with my mom and my sister and we were able to rest, and the apartment felt like home.

The host was so kind and friendly. We enjoyed our time there and were impressed with the room and shared space. Highly recommend. Clean and quiet.ex

Breakfast was very good and the bed was very confortable.

Good location, beautiful apartment, located on a busy street but the windows control the noise very well. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom is large and very functional. There is AC in all of the rooms, but we did not have to use it.

The hostress was super nice and welcoming, and the place was just wonderful. I love how she kept the original stones from the house, and renovated around them. Beautiful and cozy place. Plus, we got a free tasting of the amazing homemade olive oil!

The apartment was super nice, cute and well supplied with anything we needed.

Great location. Helpful, friendly hosts.

It Is a very good size one bedroom apartment on a second floor of a fully and efficiently restored in the centre of Guarda's old town, one block away from the Cathedral. It is very well furnished. The kitchen has all the equipment that anyone can possibly need. It was very clean. The bed was solid. Nice table and sofa and full size refrigerator. There's plenty of free parking behind the Cathedral and nearby parking lots Most importantly, Marco, the host, is extremely attentive, has a wealth of information that he very willingly shares, and he promptly replies to questions, requests and advice via Whatsapp. He's a real pleasure to talk to.

The property was spacious and comfortable.
