You can clearly see that Karin (the host/owner) has put a lot of thought into decorating the tents. They are very clean, well-equipped, and truly enjoyable to stay in. The bathrooms are also spotless. The tents are situated in a large, well-maintained garden, with a comfortable distance between them that adds to the overall sense of privacy. There is also a nice BBQ area in the corner. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need, and there are enough fridges and freezers to provide ample storage space for all guests. The location is very convenient, close to Borensberg, Motala, Linköping, and several other places worth visiting. Karin is a friendly and fantastic host. Even though our kids probably asked quite a lot from her, she remained very attentive and accommodating throughout our stay.

Mallboden is a wonderful place. The hostess was phenomenal, friendly, and so helpful. The area is full of history; a short walk around the property and near by and one can start to get the feel for the history. There is a small museum on site with a video that explains the history. Our apartment was charming, with lots of character, and well equipped. There is a clean laundry facility on site. The path along the canal and by the homes is so lovely. I would go back anytime and stay at Mallboden again. Because our stay was short, we did not eat in the Cafe, however, the food and baked goods looked fabulous.
