The owner was the best. When I arrived after a full day of hiking in Alishan, he asked me if I had dinner and offered to drive me to Shizhao to get some proper dinner. Even drove me to the busstop the next morning for me to catch the bus back to Alishan for more hiking.
The hostess was so nice and attentive, she gave us all the information we needed about the area. The hotel van picked us up in Fenqihu and dropped us off at Shizhuo Bus Station the next day. The trails around the hotel are beautiful with lots of tea fields.
Very clean and spacious Can see sunrise from.balcony and room Friendly host
Great location and really nice owner
the staff were super welcome and nice even helps us find someone to take at night to the 7 elven since we wanted chocolate the rooms are amazing, the facility is great the location is good very clothe to the park restaurant etc. the breakfast is excelent
Breathtaking view. The owner offered to fetch us from and back to the bus station during check-in and out. Breakfast was absolutely delicious paired with the stunning view. Dinner is available to be arranged in advance at a small cost and I regret not taking it. Experiencing tea making ceremonies is fun. Definitely coming back again.
We had a great time! Since we didn't have a car, the location was perfect. Right next to the bus to/from Alishan/Chiayi, and to restaurants, convenience stores and hiking trails within Shizhuo. Place is run by a nice family, the owner was extremely helpful, offering a ride to Fenqihu, recommendations, a free tea tasting experience, and also helped us get some medicine when we needed it. Place has been opened very recently, all the facilities are good, clean, and high quality.
Absolutely stunning surroundings with the mountains and tea plantations. Our host was absolutely amazing! She picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop, she also provided us with tea tasting, which was very informative and very tasty. We also did the Misty, Teapot and Cloud trail with the trailhead just a few minutes walk from our accommodation. We loved our stay!!!
The owner go out of his way to make sure that i have a comfortable stay. The accommodation itself was very spacious with the beautiful surroundings. Tea and food are very delicious! Overall,a very impressive stay.
The ambiance, the peacefulness and the good service pf the owner
The place is quiet and cozy, run by a lovely family. You can feel they really care about their guests. It has a beautiful view of a tea plantation right in front, it's next to a great coffee shop, and there are a few walks you can do nearby. It's a bit of a ride to get to Alishan national park but the host always kindly offers to drive you to the nearest bus stop to get around. She was always asking us what we wanted to do and was very helpful. She doesn't speak English but uses a translator app on her phone so communication was always smooth.
Friendly host and the house is warm, clean and feel homey.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything about the B&B is thoughtful and well-maintained, the owners show clear pride in their property. The Siangting B&B is situated on a hillside with amazing views of mountains, valleys, clouds, and tea farms, everything you come here to see. Our room's balcony was a perfect vantage point. We spent hours on that balcony, in the evening from sunset till dark and again at first light, soaking it in (and taking a bunch of pictures of course). During our one afternoon there, we went walking. It's a brief walk to the nearby trail system. There are different trail segments around, some on elevated wooden stairs and some on the ground, but between those trails and the local roads, you can cover a lot of ground and see many beautiful vistas. You don't need hiking boots or anything, but you do need to be prepared to go up and down a lot of stairs and slopes. Breakfast was offered out on a covered wooden deck overlooking the same amazing vistas (or inside, if you prefer), and included a selection of very fresh and local fruit. The family who runs this place are warm and friendly, and made us feel at home. The owner also grows and blends tea, and has traveled and competed and won awards for it. He sat us down for tea after breakfast; it was delicious, and a fun conversation. Other than the inn-provided breakfast, note that there's no food up the hill, something they were clear to us about before we arrived. So if you take the public transportation, consider picking up some food while in town. We ate our lunch down in town when we arrived, then called our host for pick-up. The B&B has a common eating space upstairs with a table, sink, fridge, and boiling water dispenser, which worked perfectly for our quick dinner (which we picked up earlier from 7-Eleven).
Legendary bed and breakfast was very clean. Bedrooms were recently refurbished. View from room balcony was fantastic. Photos posted doesn't do justice to the place. Owner was nice to send and fetch from ShiZhuo, a 5 minutes drive. Lots of walking trails around the tea plantations. Breakfast on the balcony and enjoyed the sunsets!
Our hosts were exceptional. They went above and beyond at every chance they had and we loved absolutely every minute of our short stay here. We only wish we were here for longer.
This place is new and is very clean! The room is very spacious! Kids are so happy with the snacks and drinks provided in the room. There's also a very nice dining area on the 3rd floor. Everything is excellent. The owners are very kind, polite and very thoughtful! This made our stay in Alishan very memorable and wonderful! Thank you! We will definitely recommend it to our friends. ☺️
Loved our stay here. The host family was always around downstairs to help us out and even helped us book some dinner nearby and gave us recommendations. We took a car here and then drove it into Alishan instead of staying at the expensive and mediocre hotels there and were very glad we did. We had a beautiful Japanese style room with a comfy big bed and a good shower. The hotel has an excellent common area upstairs with an amazing view of Alishan and we ate our breakfast there a couple days. Hotel area is modern looking and clean and really nothing to complain about here. Great choice for visiting this region, though without a car it will be a little annoying to get around, but that's true for all hotels outside the park proper. Honestly staying outside the park is more fun because there are cool sunset and sunrise spots outside you can drive to and the food is better, with good hiking in this town and nearby Fenqihu.
The owner is very helpful and hospitable The area is truly beautiful with a view of the mountain range You can get fresh tea from the owner Small parking lot provided
Fantastic experience, with tea tasting. Very recommended!
Located in the tea fields, 15 min away by walk from the "main street", close to a lot of trails. The family is very nice and welcoming, their dog OK is very cute and lead us to trails ! Would've loved to stay one more night to do the tea activity (tea picking) which requires at least 2 nights
There are the 360 view of tea planatation around, lots of secret trail which you can explore around the hotel It's always have just a couple group of people then the tea planatation view is your, without crowd like Alishan sunrise view. Homemade food here made from vegetable at the garden and dinner is really worth to try once! Host is really helpful.
