The hostess was so nice and attentive, she gave us all the information we needed about the area. The hotel van picked us up in Fenqihu and dropped us off at Shizhuo Bus Station the next day. The trails around the hotel are beautiful with lots of tea fields.

Alishan B&B YunMinGi has an one-level traditional lovely Taiwanese house and a beautiful contemporary 5-story building, both are connected by a short walkway.

The view from the room was breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent. One of the most beautiful trails is the Sunset Trail, which ends just a few meters from the gate; you can easily walk it in 15-20 minutes even if you take a lot of photos along the way. In two hours, we hiked the Mist Trail, Sakura Trail, and Sunset Trail, but we needed navigation (Google Maps) for it. Fenqui is less than 10 minutes by car. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Alishan from here.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome. They were incredibly warm, attentive and genuinely caring throughout our stay, which made all the difference. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the chef was a real highlight, friendly and clearly passionate about the food. On top of that, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The location is perfect, just a short drive from beautiful places to explore and close to a great selection of restaurants in the area. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it!
