Wow, I got so much more value than what I expected! I had camped two nights prior in the Crater Lake area, so was toting food in a cooler and this place didn't have a room fridge, but an entire kitchen adjacent to my room where I could store food, refreeze my ice packs, wash dishes, and stock up on water for nearby hikes. Perfect for someone who likes to bring and eat my own food! Also, there was never a wait or line for the shared bathrooms even though all rooms were booked. The bathrooms were modern, spacious, clean, with great shower pressure and sumptuous white towels. My bed was comfortable. The gourmet breakfasts and views of Mt. Shasta alone are worth the stay! Kris and David--the owners--are your chef and server, a delightful and service oriented team. You also get homemade cookies and local wine in the evenings. Who does that? The front porch is a delightful place to sip your favorite morning or afternoon beverage and take in the views and peaceful country charm. Lake Siskiyou is a bike ride or 2-mile walk away; downtown Mt. Shasta just a few miles, and close access to trails on the Mt. or Castle Crags State Park. A place I plan to stay at again! Loved it!
