The house is meticulously kept, and Bernie and Declan are lovely, friendly hosts. Breakfast included their own farm’s eggs and meats, with homemade breads. This stay made the end to a two week stay in Ireland so special and memorable!

Lovely clean, comfortable room with everything we needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff were very friendly. There was live music in the bar which created a lovely atmosphere.
Overall this B&B is exceptional value for money as we have paid double the amount in hotels for the same thing. We will definitely recommend Kerrigans.

Nice bed. Good clean sheets. . Stayed from Tuesday to Friday.
Teenage disco thud thud thudded on Thursday night till 11. Cud get no sleep. They hv club music on at weekends. Think Tina Turner Tribute was playing on Friday, so I was glad I was going home. Lovely staff. This hotel cud be so much more....

Accommodation was spotlessly clean and mostly very well kitted out. Even has outside power to charge my electric car overnight. Perfect for what we wanted as attending a function in a nearby hotel. A little remote but still only 10 mins from Athlone. Our host was very friendly and helpful. He even offered to drive us to our venue. I left my Kindle reader behind and he even offered to drive halfway to return it, a 100klm round trip!. Exceptional attitude.

Lovely little hotel very clean and comfortable. Evening time staff were excellent especially the GM Wayne. Greeted us on arrival and checked us in and was then in the restaurant looking after everyone a great asset to have. Food was Good and priced okay with today's market.

Lovely B&B, Carmel was warm and welcoming. I was staying ahead of an important work meeting and it was lovely and quiet and I had the best sleep I've had in ages!

All requests provided i.e.extra pillow etc. Large variety for breakfast. Option delivery to room. Great quality extras in room ie water. Bathroom accessories hairdryer,bag holder ,tea and coffee.

The room was great ,so cosy . The bathroom and room were spotless . I was there for 2 nights abd had 2 great nights sleep.
The walks near the hotel are so relaxing .Even though there was a wedding in the hotel on one of the nights you wouldnt have known . I didnt get time to use the pool this time .
Breakfast was great ,lots of choice . Dinner was lovely too I had Cod and chips . The lemon possette was devine .Staff were fabulous,

Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed it very much. The setting the Hotel is situated on is beautiful and the makes for a lovely spot to sit and relax with a drink or two. The bed was super comfortable, I had a great sleep. The staff are all so friendly and extremely welcoming.

Breakfast was fantastic. It had a broad range of different foods from pastries, continental breakfast, cereals and traditional Irish breakfast.
Rooms were excellent and comfortable. We had an apartment with 2 room, 1 En-suite, a living room and kitchenette with all cooking utensils available.
We ate in the hotel restaurant, The Old House Restaurant and it had a excellent seasonal menu that catered for all our needs. Shout out to the Restaurant Manager Pat Byrne who looked after all our needs for the weekend; Breakfast, Dinner and Tea!

Location was very central and ideal to the town. The host was friendly and carried my bags to the nearby apartment when handing over the keys. Apartment was spacious, spotless and warm. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

I have stayed in 4 star hotels that weren't as impressive and comfortable as Lir Lodge. Everything was perfect, bed was very comfortable, room and bathroom were spotless and beautifully furnished and the adjacent fully stocked kitchen are was wonderful. I would definitely recommend and will plan to stay there again.
