Xiao Mei, at the front desk, allowed us to stay for an extended 10 hours beyond the standard check-out, free of charge, plus upgraded us to a nicer room, with a smile. She was very helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. Very good at her job! Thank you very kindly for your wonderful hospitality!

Room view was literally "mountain", sea and sky per it's name. Appreciate the staff who gave us a room upgrade from our original Elegant ocean view room during check-in. There was an option to communicate with the staff via Wechat which was convenient. They were able to share additional information for reference such as breakfast timings, hotel shuttle timings to nearby locations/attractions. You could also take a short leisurely walk along the waterfront to and fro both ends as JW Marriott and Shanghaitian share the same compound. Some may find the hotel's location inaccessible as it is relatively more exclusive - convenient store is perhaps a 10 min walk away. We didn't find this to be a major issue. Considering the various sightseeing areas in the east/west areas of Sanya, dadonghai is considered central and reduced the time needed for travel.
