I had an absolutely amazing stay at Casona Tobar Hotel. From the moment I arrived I felt so welcomed and cared for. The hotel is charming, cozy and beautifully renovated but what truly made my experience unforgettable was the people. The wonderful girls working there, Jessica and Viviana, were incredibly warm, attentive and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, even taking the time to show me around the city and walk me to nearby places at night so that I felt completely safe. The owner, Alex, was equally wonderful and welcoming and he made me feel at home right away. Every detail, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the personalized attention and the delicious breakfast with fresh natural juices, exceeded my expectations. The property was unique and beautiful. The courtyard was decorated with amazing glass sculptures and other art. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with paintings and unique glass fixtures. The hotel staff was very helpful. The restaurant on top of the building offered a great view. The amenities were very nice including great toiletries and a decadent good night dessert every night. The breakfast was delicious.

We stayed at Illa Experience for our last night in Ecuador and Galapagos. It’s an exceptionally designed small hotel with stunning rooms, interior furnishing and views. We loved our suit and double-shower! We dined at the restaurant which provided exceptional dining experience. Breakfast was also wonderful. Staff and services were exceptional!

Hotel Carlota was a fantastic place to stay. The atmosphere was stylish yet cozy, and the rooftop was definitely a highlight—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the city views. The staff were amazing—especially Miguel, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home.

This is an elegant boutique hotel. The outside is deceiving but inside is tasteful with rooms surrounding an inner courtyard. The suite we stayed in was wonderful - spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated and furnished. The staff, and Andrea in particular, are excellent - attentive and doing what they can to make sure the stay is a success. The breakfast was nice with fresh juice, fruit, and eggs made to order. The location is walkable and felt safe even coming back in the early evening. Plenty of restaurants close by as well as various historic buildings. Lots of little touches that showed concern for guest well being.

The beds are very comfortable, the decorations are beautiful, and the room is very clean. Although the internal acoustic isolation is not very good, the road and the guests were very quiet, so I did not have any problems with noise. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
