We have stayed here several times and enjoyed it very much. We have usually had the big multi-room option (2 bedrooms and a living room with a big window to look out of). I felt it was a bit extravagant for this time so didn't book it. Our room was clean but it was cold. There was a nasty draft coming from under and around the door. We used bits of cloth pegged together to reduce this. There was no lovely view to look out at, and I understand that you can only have that with certain rooms.

Our booking was for 3 rooms, we were split across the hotel, heating did not work in one of the rooms, bathroom drain was blocked in one of the showers and that bathroom did not have a sink. The house keeper was extremely rude as she made one of the rooms before our check out time and keys hadn't been handed in. She was upset that the toilet was used after cleaning. Never stay there.

The place is clean, parking is plenty, it locates right at the Western Highway, so even you are first timer, you won't miss it. but most importantly, it has fridge, microwave, and TOASTER in the room ! along with a shared kitchen with utensils. (no sharp knife though ) This means we make proper breakfast every morning at a fraction of a cost of eating out it is perfect for hikers who want a comfortable base oh, also, the bed has electrical blanket, it is so comfy in winter
