We had previously stay here over a year ago when our car broke down and the NRMA put us up overnight so this was one of the reason we chose the Soldiers Motel as we knew it was clean, the locations is great and had a general idea of the rooms. Once we had checked in I noticed on Bookings.com that the room with the king size bed and spa bath was still available. They honoured the on line price and we paid the difference. I must say it was worth it.

Located in the heart of Mudgee, Ningana Motel is a short stroll from the town center's pubs, clubs, shops, restaurants and churches.

A very comfortable place to stay. Very clean and excellent bedding/ amenities. I would have to say would have to be one of the best locations in town, we walked every where (dinner; drinks, shopping) and the management and staff are very friendly. Highly recommended and look forward to staying again!

The property is well located and the facilities area are amazing. We stayed overnight but I could spend more time there If I needed to. We used the pool and the sauna and everything looks exactly the same as the photos, beautiful!

The motel is clean, comfortable and unpretentious. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, on the edge of town and close to wineries. We could walk into town along a well maintained riverside path, or it's a short drive for those who don't like walking. It was surprisingly quiet at night despite being on a main road. The grounds are spacious and we enjoyed cooking on the the bbq and dining at one of the outdoor tables. The weather was hot (over 32°) but it was pleasantly cool in the shady garden. The swimming pool was refreshing and the perfect temperature, despite the very hot weather. We would definitely stay there again. It was great value for money!
