The man was very helpful with making us comfortable and sorting our room. He even helped carry our bags. Nothing was a problem and he was very courteous. He allowed us to upgrade our room too. A perfect gentleman.

During a big road trip around New Zealand we returned to the Teviot View two bedroom apartment for our last two nights as we had already stayed here and knew how lovely it is. This apartment was the best yet, we had plenty of room and there’s also a sofa bed in the living area if you need extra space. The owners are so friendly and welcoming it really felt like a home from home to us. There is a good kitchen area which we didn’t really have time to make use of, and room to sit and eat either inside or outside. We stayed here as it’s close to relatives but it’s handy for Christchurch too. There are shops, takeaways and restaurants within easy walking distance, and if you follow the road you get to Amberley Beach. The apartment is on a small site with just a couple of other apartments so there’s no noise. We had a lovely visit and I highly recommend staying here.
