Great location. Housekeepers were helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and the entire place was pretty quiet. Manager seemed like a very knowledgeable and down to earth individual. He was able to answer any questions or concerns we had.

We got back late n had no towels. Other then that we love it. We come a few times a yr. Our daughter goes to collage 7 minutes away. This motel fit the bill: reasonable price, good location, quiet rooms, hot shower. I would not stay here for a vacation (it's not that kind of place), but for a night on the road or a respite from the city, this "ticks all the boxes".

For French people like us, it is as if we were transported into a Clint Eastwood movie where the good guy has to hide in a basic motel which looks a bit old-fashioned. This is an experience!

In the future if I need a motel and I'm within 100 miles of the Black Mountain Hampton Inn, I'll drive out of our way to enjoy this spectacular motel experience.

We were so very pleased to find that it was very clean!!! No chemical clean smell, just pure fresh clean including all bedding and carpet! No musty smell, no cigarette smoke smell, and no odors.
