The room is comfy. They have everything you need in a room, fridge, tv, ac. It is a japanese style room, which means you sleep on the tatami. It was comfortable for me. If you travel a group of three, this one is very valuable for 12000 yen a night. The owner is very nice. After knowing we are going to mt. Fuji, the owner drove us to the train station for free and guided us where to buy the bus tickets. He is really helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay at Wakamizosou Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko. What we liked most was the traditional Japanese tatami room, which gave the experience an authentic and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities were very clean, including the onsen and public spaces, which were well maintained and comfortable to use. The location is excellent, right in front of the lake, offering beautiful views and a peaceful setting. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay, even though their English was quite basic—they still made a genuine effort to assist us whenever needed. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are tall (I’m 193 cm), you may need to be careful with the low ceilings in certain areas. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay and a great place to experience traditional Japanese hospitality

Good location, I had complete view of mount Fuji directly from the window in my room, it was beautiful. The staff was very kind with everything. The cleanliness was good and the Onsen very good.

The room was amazing with a beautiful lake view. Having our own bath was a luxury. Food was literally amazing and it is not only breakfast but afternoon snacks and I think evening cocktail time is a proper dinner. I tried the common onsen a couple of times, so nice! The location is also nice, in case you want to visit places around the Mt. Fuji.

This was the perfect spot for a one night stay in the middle of our trip. Staff were lovely and helpful. Private onsen was under repair but main ones were tattoo friendly so that was great 😊

Incredible experience! The traditional dinner is a must try. Everything was excellent. Don't forget to try the (private) onsen, too

Masaki, who delivered and explained our dinners, was the highlight! He was so friendly and did a great job! Breakfast and dinner were incredibly tasty. You must visit the rooftop foot spa on a clear day, for a spectacular view of Mt Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake. Convenient location, free shuttle from/to Kawaguchiko station, room and public onsen were incredibly clean, got to enjoy karaoke and I highly recommend the private bath with the view of Mt Fuji.

Very friendly staff. Excellent onsen and Kaiseki meal experience in a cozy boutique hotel. Kids enjoy our stay very much.

Staff were super friendly. They were there always ready to help. The authentic Japanese breakfast is a must-try if you haven’t experienced it before.
