EVERYTHING !!! The hotel is very very clean. The Onsen inside the hotel is FANTASTIC !!! Very private and super comfortable. No need to visit the 7 public onsens at all (unless you wanted to try out and compare) The breakfast was so nice and a big spread of food. The staff, including the front desk personnel, the restaurant staff and the important driver. Best of the best staff around. Very polite and extremely thoughtful !! Very good hotel and definitely recommend to anyone who wanted to visit Kinosaki.

This small, boutique ryokan was perfect for us. They only have a small amount of rooms, so you get really amazing attention from the staff. Everyone there did everything to make our short stay (only one night) amazing. Location is perfect - a quick 5 minute walk up the main street from the train station and right across the bridge. It's also directly beside Jizo-yu Onsen. When you check in, they serve you tea and castella cake while going over the information from the hotel. We have booked dinner with our stay and it is SO MUCH FOOD (sashimi, steamed foods, an entire upstairs salad/sides area, a Tajima beef bowl plus desserts). They took our photo during dinner and then at the end gave us a framed photo to take home with us. The attention to detail here is next level. The room was a good size and the beds were like clouds. The toilet room was a little bit small for me but absolutely not a deal breaker. This hotel does not have bath/showers in the room. They have two baths on the 1st floor off the lobby.

Awesome place with a beautiful decoration and style. The room was great with a classic japanese style and the Yukatas were perfect. The dinner and breakfast were incredible, we enjoyed everything they served. The possibility of using several public bath on the whole town was a really nice experience.

Really enjoyed our stay here. A taste of traditional and cultural Japan. Our rooms were magnificent, spotless and beautifully designed and decorated. Staff exceptional and the meals were the beast of our 17 day journey through Japan. Would definitely return.

The town is very small so it is easily accessible by train. The staff were very friendly, we loved the dinner and the breakfast.

This was the coolest place we stayed during our month in Japan. The sleeping futon mattresses were so comfortable and the view of the river with the bird nest was incredible! Room amenities were excellent and the yukata provided were super cool.
