We will be back! WOW. This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

We love an onsen in the room with seaview and also private onsen booking after 8 pm. The dinner was very delicious and had many courses. It took 2 hrs for having dinner. We were so full. There is a private parking lot and the location is close to Kawazu Sakura area.

I was the only guest staying at the property at the time. The room was spacious and would be perfect for even a longer stay. The shared facilities included a bathroom with a tub on the first floor, as well as a small kitchenette on the second floor. The cleanliness was top notch, I have no complaints. The owner was the friendliest ever. He gave me a ride to the Seven Waterfalls of Kawazu and had made coffee for me in the morning, even though I had to leave early to catch a train. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to Kawazu!

Absolutely loved this property because of how phenomenal the location was. We were right on the strip of the festival and the property was beautiful with a cherry tree right next to it. Very lovely living and hangout spaces and lots of windows for beautiful lighting. It had a very nice traditional vibe.

Everything about Mizumari is magical. The property is very serene and private. We sat in the onsen and watched deer walk up the hi on the other side of the river, and watched birds take nectar from the flowering trees hanging over the river. The rooms are traditionally furnished and very spacious and comfortable.
