Simpy WOW! It is really an amazing place. We stayed there for one night just to get the experience in staying in a ryokan with onsen. We like anime so we chose this one as it has some features of Demon Slayer anime :) Room was amazing, sleeping on futons was really comfortable. Room was spacious. We were wearing yukatas during our stay and it was just amazing! Onsen was wonderful! And the dinner - OMG - super tasty! we felt really welcomed there and taken care of. One staff member who spoke English very well was explaining us what we were eating, how to cook different parts of the meal etc. It was so lovely. We really appreciate that! If we ever come to Japan again we will go there for sure.

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The food arrangement was a combination mostly of typical Japanese dishes with a touch of western cuisine. We stayed on New Year's Eve so we even got some special dishes on top! For drinks, there were also several home-made ones (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to choose from. The owner was extremely nice! He and his partner have a lot of international travel experience, especially in Latin America and Spain. They have very broad perspectives, so it's not a problem to stay as a foreigner even if you haven't been to Japan before. The inn of course has a natural hot spring bath, and we were able to book a time-slot to use privately. It is a remote location far away from the city, so we could enjoy some time away from the busy city and do some stargazing as well. They keep several cats which are very cute and friendly towards the guests.

Localizado em Ashinomaki Onsen, o Marumine oferece quartos com ar-condicionado e banheira de água termal privativa ao ar livre. The onsen and environment in general are amazingly relaxing. The breakfast and dinner buffe were extraordinary. The staff were so friendly and kind. Everything was great.

Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.

Spacious Japanese-style room with an exceptional view of Lake Inawashiro. The dining hall had microwaves, utensils and even portable table-top gas stoves people can use for barbeque or sukiyaki - great for a family or friends getaway. Would love to stay here again for more nights!
