Exceptional service by all staff! Above and beyond the call of duty, the staff went out of their way to provide impeccable service in all areas: arrival, reception, attention to detail, care and attention, assistance, warm service straight from the heart, and explaining everything with patience. Food served was of extraordinary standards and high quality. True hospitality is not about facilities , it’s about service straight from the heart. All other Ryokans should send their staff here for training and to learn true hospitality

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The food arrangement was a combination mostly of typical Japanese dishes with a touch of western cuisine. We stayed on New Year's Eve so we even got some special dishes on top! For drinks, there were also several home-made ones (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to choose from. The owner was extremely nice! He and his partner have a lot of international travel experience, especially in Latin America and Spain. They have very broad perspectives, so it's not a problem to stay as a foreigner even if you haven't been to Japan before. The inn of course has a natural hot spring bath, and we were able to book a time-slot to use privately. It is a remote location far away from the city, so we could enjoy some time away from the busy city and do some stargazing as well. They keep several cats which are very cute and friendly towards the guests.

Kutsurogijyuku Shintaki býður upp á gistingu í 15 mínútna fjarlægð með strætisvagni frá JR Aizuwakamatsu-stöðinni. Gististaðurinn er með 4 hveraböð með ókeypis vatni. Spacious space. The private onsen is very nice.

Harumiya Ryokan er staðsett í innan við 24 km fjarlægð frá Nihonmatsu-stöðinni og 41 km frá Koriyama-stöðinni í Fukushima og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Beautiful location next to a mountain stream. Out of the way. Well-appointed facility with and friendly, helpful staff.

Located in Koriyama, 18 km from Koriyama Station, Moritaya features accommodation with a hot spring bath and a public bath. Everything was absolutely amazing!!!!

Located in Ashinomaki Onsen, 渓谷美の宿川音 provides some air-conditioned rooms with private open-air hot spring bath. The view from my room was breath taking. The room wax clean and the futon very comfortable. The buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent. Onsen as well very nice as I used the small one and I was alone!

Hotel Route Inn Grand Fukushima Ekimae Higashiguchi er staðsett í Fukushima, í innan við 27 km fjarlægð frá Nihonmatsu-stöðinni og 49 km frá Koriyama-stöðinni. Location, women only baths and restaurant.

Guesthouse & Kitchen Hace er 2 stjörnu gististaður í Iwaki, 11 km frá Aquamarine Fukushima. Boðið er upp á sameiginlega setustofu, veitingastað og bar. Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.
