The staff was particularly lively and helpful, even for Japanese standards! (which is saying a lot since they're generally very nice!). All the details were very thoughtfully prepared. The food was exquisite! Hard to believe it was all included, since the food alone could have been worth at least $100 in any gourmet restaurant at a big city. The flavors were indeed more than just traditional Japanese and went along with the mixture of influences that Nagasaki is known for. Every dish was explained by the friendly staff, who are evidently very passionate about their craft. The design of the rooms and the hotel are aesthetically and experientially magical. We enjoyed the private onsen in front of the beautiful seaview. They also have a public onsen! The hotel is 3 minutes away (walking) from the Obama Onsen Bus Stop, which is where any bus will drop you off from either Nagasaki or Isahaya Station, so even that comes in handy. 10/10

The accommodation offers 4-star accommodation with a hot tub and hot spring bath. The rooms were spacious and clean and the view is amazing. We used the spa which was lovely and the pool and onsen are relaxing.

Hotel mio offers a hot spring bath. The hosts were so kind and the welcome coffee they serve is the best of the region. The house is very clean despite of the 180 years of history. Also, the hosts gave us a half hour explanation to the beautiful house and the surrounding area in details. We felt so heartfelt. Definitely recommend anyone who wish to have a Japanese house for their trip.

Dinner and breakfast were of a very high standard served in the traditional way at home by a personal server. We were lucky to experience snowfall while there making the experience at the onsen even more magical.

This 3-star ryokan offers a lift and full-day security. The ryokan has family rooms. We had in-room onsen, which was amazing. The public onsen was also good. Dinner in a private room for our party was delicious. The town is very convenient to the mountains and the rest of the Unzen part of the national park.

Nishiiriguchi Bus Stop is located right in front of the hotel and Shimabaragaiko Train Station is a 30-minute drive away. Spacious room with two bathrooms. Amazing Onsen experience and Kaiseki meals. Helpful staff.

Located in Sasebo, just a minute's walk from the entrance of Huis Ten Bosch, Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch features air-conditioned rooms and private parking. Guests can enjoy their choice of Western, Chinese or Japanese-style teppanyaki meals at the on-site restaurant. It was my second stay. Everything was perfect. I wish next time I visit I have more time to enjoy onsen.

Renovated in April 2018, i + Land Nagasaki is 18.5 km or a 40-minute drive from Nagasaki Station. A hot spring bath, sauna, garden and kids area are available for guests. The property provides a 24-hour front desk. Loved everything , starting from ferry ride over, room had great view, lots to choose from at breakfast, Nepalese staff very helpful with any questions we had. Hot pools and electric bikes were excellent perk definitely our highlight whilst travelling Japan, couldn't rate this resort enough, wish we had booked for longer
