Our host gave us a short tour of the house and there was not a single detail left out! I absolutely loved the backlit wood, used from the original house, as well as the accented walls that show the stone of which the house is constructed. Everything within the space has a story and you can tell the host takes great pride in both the guest house as well as the small town of Puka. Our host also made an excellent tour guide, showing some great places to eat and drink in town. He also took us to a beautiful waterfall where we were able to jump in and swim in crystal clear water. After swimming, and a short hike back to the car, we were treated to a delicious traditional lunch! I could go on and on! If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday, this is the place for you!

Guesthouse Makry was perfect for our stay in Kryezi. The family owning the guesthouse are very friendly, welcoming and were ready to help if we needed anything. The room was nicely appointed, very clean and very comfortable. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. There’s an awesome walk to a waterfall from the property. We highly recommend Guesthouse Makry!!!

Spacious and clean room. The breakfast was very nice and the family was super friendly. Super plus in our case was that we asked for pick up from the airport but our flight got delayed for 5 hours!! And they waited for us!

After a stressful week at work, we were looking for a peaceful getaway in nature and came across this newly opened guesthouse in Koman. Honestly, it felt like discovering a hidden paradise in the Albanian Alps. Eni and Koli were simply amazing – their warm hospitality truly reflects the best of Albanian tradition. The apartment we booked had everything we needed. It was beautifully renovated, perfectly blending comfort with authentic local charm. The pool was crystal clear, the apartment was spotless and cozy, and the food prepared by Eni was absolutely delicious – homemade, fresh, and full of flavour. We couldn’t have asked for a better escape. Highly recommended to anyone looking for nature, peace, and true hospitality.
