the place is amazing and exactly what we were looking for. it is in the middle of nowhere (be careful, UCom does not have Network there and inexperienced drivers with a normal car might break stuff) and absolutely worth the effort getting there. the staff is providing an important role to bears in Armenia and you quite literally "sleep with bears". don't be afraid the biggest of their dogs is a literal bear but only wants cuddles.

Remoteness. Everywhere was silent and had amazing views. We took a late-night drunk-walk in the mountain nearby. During the day we swam and did BBQ in the plastic above-ground pool (Yes, the pool is above-ground and plastic, but it was very nice)

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Aygavan, B&B Sunrise House Aygavan is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the city.

Owners are a friendly and interesting couple with stories to tell. Beautiful house and garden, excellent food, compote etc with many products from their own garden. Maybe the best breakfast I have had in Armenia. A perfect place to break the journey south or simply to overnight if you are visiting Khor Virap.

I have literally stayed at thousands of properties in my life but this is one of my favorites. Gog and Anna made us feel like family, not paying guests. Gog was quick to help with anything we needed and gave us great travel advice for the area. Anna was a wonderful hostess and a great cook for breakfast. The wifi was very fast. We had intended to stay one night but extended an extra night because the experience was so good.
