We were a family of four and had a very pleasant stay in Landhaus Gestein. The rooms are fully equipped, clean and spacious and offer great views. You can ski directly from and to the Landhaus, as it lays very close to the slopes.

Exceptionally beautiful and convincing Almisch decor and atmosphere, including in the rooms. A hotel room/bath could hardly be cleaner. Austrian hotels are far superior for quality and value than in the Midwest USA. Exceptional breakfast buffet, easy cashless ordering- the staff just remembers your orders and prints a receipt at your reserved seating place in the the multi-open-roomed bar/restaurant area. Lunch and dinner also include a main course with buffet but you must purchase those. Breakfast is included with the room. Plenty of little courtesies and gifts really make you feel welcome and spoiled. Stunning mountain and valley views. Share this with someone special. I was the only one person there who came alone. About half the people were there to ski. From the excellent sauna/spa with heated (but not hot) outdoor pool, you could watch people ski all day out of the giant windows. I can imagine this place would be amazing in the summer for a non skiier like me. However, the luxury and comfort (Gemütlichkeit) of the alps and this specific establishment allowed me to "forget the time" as one other review said. I found it to be a perfect, sincere, mix of rustic and modern. I couldn't imagine how spending any more on a hotel could truly get you better. This place has everything you need in high quality, and still has a little more. Not too crowded, but lively enough for a full family-friendly, yet classy-party atmosphere. For example, you could drink, or not, and feel a part of things. Spa had just enough people to feel social, but you weren't always looking at swarms of other people like in the rock baths of this area. In fact it was usually 0-2 people in the pool or sauna with you. I believe I read however that the tap water in this spa contains most of the same mineral benefits of the rock spring. Visiting Alpentherme in the next town by train was still indeed doable after checkout.

    Host lady was great and welcoming. its amazing value for money, it was clean, it had everything described, it was perfect! There is parking for 2 cars in front. Kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a fireplace in the living room, balcony with a great view.

    The location is 3 minutes from parking lots near lift. You can see directly on the top of hill and snow on slopes from house. The house provides big opportunities to play games, to cook/bake/fry. Couple of refrigderators, bathroom, warm room for ski shoes etc. A lot of tables to sit and eat or play something.

    Good location, 10 minute walk to the ski lift, nice place to store ski equipment during the night, parking available on site, nice room and bathroom. There are a few good places eat out in the nearby. Walking the dog in the area is fun way to discover Dorfgastein and please remember to pick up the litter after your pet. There is a coffee machine near the reception and you can pay with card.

    The location was perfect. A few minutes walk from the Fulseck Bergbahn and outdoor swimming pool, but it was still quiet and peaceful. Plenty of parking spaces. Christine was very helpful and friendly. Everything was fine.

    Good parking, 2 bedrooms and kitchen with all the needed. Everything was nice. Did not eat at the restaurant,but the ice cream was very tasty. This is 2nd time we stay there. Pet friendly.

    lovely breakfast in a stunning room, hotel was easy to find on a beautiful location, nice and cosy room. We got the family suit for 4 people, it was enough for one night's sleep.. There's free parking around the corner of the hotel. The hotel cooperates with the local Thermal spa Felsentherme and you can buy discounted tickets, they even provide the towels for the spa :) Not bad at all

    Very good location and contact with the landlord. Apartments very clean and well prepared for the guests. Grocessy in the vicinity, also a lot of good not very expensive restaurants, big parking lot in the front of entrance. Very nice and heated storage for ski gear! also for boots.
