The room was very cute, very spacious, and very clean. Breakfast was elaborate and delicious, and also included a generous fruit plate, along with eggs fried or boiled according to each guest’s request. Best of all was meeting the caring and generous hosts, who created a wonderful family-like atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay at Townsville Motor Inn. The beds were large and very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was a nice touch — especially the fact that you could take as much as you needed. It made for a relaxed and convenient start to the day.

I have stayed before at the Colonial Rose, I like to be on the ground floor and find it very quiet. My room was set for a person with disabilities and that was not me. So the room was spacious, but a bit cramped in the shower area due to the specially chair/toilet chair. But I love that I can make coffee and toast in the mornings as there was a toaster in my room.
