This little cottage was an oasis on our driving trip across Tasmania. The wall to wall windows put us in the heart of nature in the comfort of our own own bed. Lovingly restored historic home. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable bed and the plushest of towels. Gavin was very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival. Location was easy to access from our evening penguin tour at Low Head and en route on our next days journey.

EVERYTHING. It was absolutely a wonderful stay for us. Beauty Point is quiet, comfortable and fabulous. The cabin was clean and lovely. I especially loved the kitchen - it has everything you need. We occasionally saw wallabies outside eating grass which was cute. We enjoyed watching them. We also loved the walk in the park. We didn't see much river view through the window even though our cabin was waterfront but the surrounding environment is already gorgeous enough. Besides, you can easily walk closer to the river for a better view. Staff was helpful. Thank you indeed.

Excellent facilities and very spacious with beautiful views. We even spotted a Pademelon hopping about in the morning! Excellent variety in breakfast choices.

Fantastic views across the Tamar River, reminiscent of England's Lake District. Everything that one could need for an overnight stay, including toaster, bowls and even small butter and jam packets. Modern, clean lines. Will definitely be back.
