AustraliaBalcón de Potes was a lovely place to stay. It sits on a hilltop just outside town, so you get peace and quiet but are still only a short trip from everything Potes has to offer.
The accommodation is new, and it shows. Everything felt fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. The highlight for us was the view: waking up and looking out over the town and the surrounding mountains was something special, and it made it hard to leave in the mornings.
The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We'd happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone exploring Potes and the Picos de Europa.

United StatesEverything about the stay was great! We only stayed one night and would have loved at least one more to explore the region. Elena was a wonderful host, the bed was comfortable, the linens were amazing, the place was spotless, and breakfast could not have been better. It was a perfect location for us after spending the day driving and hiking around Picos de Europa. I wish I were at that peaceful place right now!

El Molino de Cicera is definitely a gem in the region, a place surrounded by gorges, forests and mountains. The owners are truly friendly, communicative and full of suggestions on what to do and how to spend your time in the area. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was trekking and hiking, and the best paths and locations were suggested by them. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location is really quiet. The house and the adjacent building are tastefully decorated and inviting to rest and enjoy the scenery. The village itself is pretty remote, but the one bar/reataurant is good enough and the staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. El Molino was a good choice and I actually prolonged my stay, to enjoy more what the area has to offer.

The house was super charming and impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable and the small kitchen was perfect for making small meals. We really liked the outdoor space. The small village is lovely.

This chalet was lovely in every way! The beautiful house is located with amazing views of the mountains and above a running river - comfortable sitting area and cozy beds. An outside deck is perfect for morning coffee and charcuterie with drinks in the evening. Close to hiking trails all around and a quaint town called Potes for shopping, drinks and dinner. The host Jose is tremendous- excellent and quick communication and full of tips and help coordinating taxi service, appointments for the local spa and dinner - exceptional host!
