The location is remote and peaceful. Nice lake nearby, looks like birds like it a lot. The main house has a modern kitchen, we had everything we needed for cooking there. The territory has several grilling places, hot tub that is running all time, nice glazed terrace. Main house has a big sofa in the kitchen/living room and a small bedroom with a smallers double bed. The sauna house has a room with bigger double bed. People comment about having only one toilet there (in the sauna house), but turns out there is another bio toilet in a shed, but of course the modern toilet in the sauna house is a much nicer option.

Beautifully renovated old farmhouse in quiet rural part of Finland. Kitchen was really well equipped and the whole house was very clean. The host was very welcoming and nice. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our extended family and it was everything we hoped for and more. The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped — you could feel how much care and memories went into every detail of the stunning interior. The location is perfect for anyone looking to spend time at the historic Billnäs or Fiskars ironworks.

Old building atmosphere in a good way. Nice cozy apartment with home-like equipment. Great value for money. Janne was a caring host with giant bunnies and a cat in the backyard. We were in a football tournament, a family with two kids at school and two adults.

This new hostel is pretty immaculate, everything is super clean, there is a neat kitchen with all you need, cosy homelike common hangout area, and rooms are also cosy with just 4 beds in each. For Finland the price is pretty great value. During my stay on the last day of May the place was completely empty (a treat for introverts like me lol) and it was very quiet through the whole night (I am a light sleeper so I appreciate it very much). Check-in instructions were given very clearly, you can do a self check-in whenever you like, communication was good. The town of Tammissaari/Ekenäs itself was beautifully atmospheric Nordic small town, walk to the town centre would be longish but enjoyable from the hostel, by bike it is very near.
