The hotel is located near the airport. It is so convenient, especially if you have a connecting flight in the next 10 hours or so. Check-in was easy, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast is not located in the hotel but the next door hotel.

This place is within walking distance from the Helsinki Airport. This was great because we just needed to spend a night in the Helsinki to catch the next day flight. A Pizza restaurant (Pizza Pilot) is also nearby. The property is located in quiet area which we liked a lot. A walk for pizza pilot restaurant was a great family walk as the locality is serene and we met few rabbits on the way.

Hotel was just perfect. Quiet and very comfortable rooms, everything you needs is there. Beds are soft enough for a good quality sleep. Very nice bathroom with good lighting. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Staff was friendly and polite. Also location is perfect, very close to the airport, 2-3 bus stops and you are there. Everything was perfect.

Located 11 miles (17 kilometres) from central Helsinki in the city of Vantaa, Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is the main international gateway to Finland and the busiest airport in the country. There are two direct train connections from Helsinki Airport to the city centre, I-train and P-train, departing every 10 minutes. You can also take the 615 bus or the Finnair City Bus to Helsinki Railway Station, running every 30 minutes.

Vantaa was a good place to stay out of Helsinki with much reasonable prices. The aviation museum is a must see and spent half a day there. The mall near the hotel was very good and spent a whole day there. We used Vantaa as a break between trips but would spend more time in future.

Excellent location, in the city, but still very peaceful and quiet. Woke up to bird song! Went for morning runs on the riverside and through fields - and then took the 15-minute trainride to Helsinki city centre. Great!

Helsinki is the best place, winter, summer.
Helsinki is the best place, winter, summer. Easy to Explore with trams and other transportations is really good and reliable as well.
Lunches are worth of eating, plenty of buffets.
New place opend top floor of Forum asian vibe, they cook front of you, worth of trying, 15€:)
Must try sauna and swim in the sea, colder the better
And not to forget Oodi-library!

Our primary reason for Vantaa was our need to be at the airport very early. The public transport runs super efficiently.
We bussed into central Helsinki using 2 routes and both were excellent. Bus stops literally outside the apartment block.
The train station is a brisk 10 minute walk away and again super service for Helsinki, the airport or connections to wider Finland..
Locally there's a a couple big supermarkets too.

The entire vibe of Helsinki was magical. Fabulous food options, lots of entertainment for both adults and kids. Fabulous museums. Every one speaks english very well which made communication easy. Very different feel in the winter (I was in Helsinki in July 2025) - in a good way.

At this time of year, late April, some of the tourist options dont operate as you might expect aka Hop on/off bus isnt that until into May, (convenient Tourist information at Senate Square in the City Centre. )Olympic Museum may be of interest but wont take that long to look round. Seems if you want the Salmon Soup you had better think about that early on a cold day - initially looks expensive but the pictures show large chunks of fish. Lake Tuulusa can be reached by bus from Kervo rail station - had as short stay there. Harbour boat trip was chilly so went inside after halfhour.
