Hotels with Parking in Sandavágur

The house was beautiful and very central

The location is super nice and the view is magnificent. The host was very nice and very friendly. Also, he was super helpful and waited for our late arrival. The room was very clean and cozy and our private bathroom was big and nice. Lastly it was very easy to pay by cash. There are two ATM near the house, literally 2 minutes by car. For us if you want to stay in Vagar either for one night or more you have your answer, the Atlantic view guest house 😁.

I like "tiny houses " and this is essentially what it is. Within 10 minutes or so from the airport and a Bonus is in the same direction. Unit was clean and the hosts were very communicative when I had questions.

Conveniently located not far from the airport. Close to hiking areas. Parking available. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Host was quick to respond to any questions/concerns that we may have had.

I really enjoyed the beautiful nature surrounding the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, even with spices for cooking 😅. The house itself is lovely and has a good amount of space.

Location was good. Not far from grocery store.

My family and I loved everything about this property and our stay here! First of all, we had wonderful exchanges with our hosts, Gunnar and Helga. They answered all our questions and even touched base during our stay to see that all was ok. The house itself is just as nice as in the pictures. It's right on the water with beautiful views up and across the bay to the hills in the distance. The house had everything we needed: comfortable beds, spacious rooms, scenic views, parking right outside the house, huge bathroom with powerful shower (as well as a tub upstairs), and a wonderful kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans that we needed to prepare dinners and breakfast. Dining out is quite expensive in the Faroe Islands, so having this kitchen space was greatly appreciated. The place was very quiet and we all slept wonderfully each night. The location of the property is also exceptional. We were minutes from the airport as well as scenic must-see sites such as Gasadalur with the Múlafossur Waterfall, and Lake Sørvágsvatn. We were so close to Gasadalur that we drove there a few evenings to catch the sunset. My family and I have traveled a lot across Europe these past last few years, and this was one of our best places to stay. Thank you Gunnar and Helga! I hope we can return one day!

The cabin is clean and quiet, on the waterfront. Ample parking spaces. Kitchen is very convenient. A few minutes drive to supermarket and the hiking trailhead for the cliff.

Good location. Not far from the Airport. The house is charming and full of history.

House ressembles a museum. Modern. Clean. Calm. Well equipped

Clean, beautiful design, best location Very comfortable Replied quickly to every request

The staff provided outstanding service. They were accommodating, supportive, and handled the situation efficiently before check-in.

The village was picturesque and charming, location was great, quiet yet only 25 minutes to Torshavn. The home was charming and kitchen although small had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, no tall people in the upper bedroom, lol.

We usually stay in hotels, so renting a house was something new for us — and it turned out to be a great experience! The place was just what we were looking for: no smoke smell, no old or strange odors, clean, simple, and very comfortable. The hosts were very professional — not overly involved, but also not careless. I really appreciated their help when I couldn’t figure out how to start our rental Toyota car (it was new and a bit confusing). They kindly showed me how, and that honestly saved me a lot of stress. Tip: Please don’t rely on Google Maps to drive directly to the house. It brings you close, but not to the actual driveway — you’ll see the house but won’t be able to drive and park right in front. It’s a good idea to ask the host for detailed directions before you go. Also, be sure to read the guest guide ahead of time — it explains how to park and how to pay. Just note that they accept only Danish cash (DDK). One small thing: the Wi-Fi router is near the bedroom. If the internet gives you trouble, try rebooting the router — that fixed it for us. Like many budget routers, it just needs a little reset sometimes. Overall, we had a very smooth and pleasant stay!

I liked the view and the painting of the goat in the dining room.

Very cozy apartment with all the amenities required for living. The location is great near the river. Big bathroom downstairs & have a toilet in the living quarters as well.
