Everything with the stay was top notch. Our host went out of his way on numerous occasions and was very courteous and professional.

The person who was serving breakfast, helped me in English for almost an hour because my French is so limited. She helped me purchase tickets and showed me how I was able to walk to La Roque Gageac easily .

Modern comforts in an old building, wonderful renovation. Beautiful building and grounds.Comfortable rooms and beds! Very quiet area away from the village. You need a car to drive to the center.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Bayardine. We stayed in the two bedroom apartments, which has everything you might need. The air conditioning was a lifesaver as we were there during the heatwave. We had breakfast on the terrace in the morning when it was still cool, surrounded by the chirping of all the birds.

The location was really perfect for us, being just 3 minutes away from the meeting point of explorando (kayak and canoe rental). The hosts were very nice and super available to accommodate us.

Excellent hosts, very nice buffet breakfast with plenty of coffee and juices around a big table were you get to chat to the other guests. We dined inhouse one night and the food was superb. Great swimming pool, much needed as temperatures were in 30s most days and we were cycling alot. Hosts had some maps and guides which were most helpful. Well located for exploring this part of the Dordogne with canoe rental 5 minute drive away, the canoe people bus you up river and you take as long as you like to make your way back down to starting point. Montfort village is a 5 min walk and has a small local pub serving great food and good selection of beers. Airconditioning was not required as building was always cool inside at night.

We had an excellent experience at Le Petit Manoir. The property is set on beautiful grounds just a short walk from the sweet village of Vitrac. The two bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and clothes washer. It also has a very beautiful and private garden for outdoor dining or just relaxing. Anne, the owner, was in communication with us before our arrival with helpful tips on local events occurring in the region. She also has put together an extensive booklet and online links for guests about the apartment, favorite restaurants, area hikes, recommended Perigord itineraries, and must see attractions and activities. She lives in the manor house next door and is very available for guest needs or queries. The location cannot be beat for easy visits to the best of the Dordogne region. 100% recommend!

The room was awesome, the neighborhood is so relaxing but mostly Victor and Bernadette are beyond awesome. When I checked out I had to get about 20 minutes away to my next house and since there was no public transportation Victor drove me

Such a unique and classic accommodation, in a remarkable renovated estate. Classic, French, country patina. Private entrance, great bed. Enchantingly beautiful native rock and stone interior. Gorgeous. Loved it!! Could not get WiFi while we were there, but not a big deal for us.
