Gunta was incredibly nice. We arrived a lot earlier because of a storm and she got our room ready before usual check in time. She makes incredible dinners, we loved them. The house was very cozy, beds were amazing and everything was clean.

Everything was ideal starting with the house manual and a curated list of recommendations for activities, attractions and places to eat in the area. the breakfast was tasteful and one of the best on my visit to Scotland both the variety and quality/authenticity. Location was amazing, unique and beautiful! We loved the eggs, milk and bread that was provided. The vegetable garden was a bonus. We enjoyed cooking, sitting outside in the gorgeous garden, visiting with cats, chickens and goats. They never bothered us; we seek them out! Plenty of room for our family of five.

    Beautiful hotel on Alness high street, free parking onsite and free wifi. The family room was large and perfect for what we needed as a family of 4, also clean. I liked the little personal touches like body wash in the bathroom and biscuits & coffee in the seating area. We ate downstairs in the restaurant, we ordered chicken fajitas, chicken tikka masala and two children’s meals. All of which was delicious. Staff so lovely and helpful.
