Nice hotel view and very friendly and always smiling staff
Good size of room and the bed. service was excellent, people are very friendly. Going to stay here next time as well.
Handy location for our stay en route down further south. Lovely small room does just the job, great quiet pub with a good selection of beers on tap. We ate dinner (curry night) and breakfast the next morning - both very tasty! Staff we're great with our dog, very accommodating.
A place with a character, something missing these days. Very affordable prices plus a hearty breakfast. Excellent customer service, a family atmosphere, a wonderful, romantic garden, and a great bar. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The room was very comfortable, with lovely finishing touches. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was very nice but the veggie sausage could be improved to a modern plant-based product rather than the old-fashioned mixed vegetable sausage.
The theme and convenience, very at home feeling ...xxx
The cottage was great and had everything we needed for one night. The location was good for us as we were attending a family party close by.
An incredible stay! A truly lovely cottage in a perfect location, seconds from the pretty town centre but also close to the most amazing countryside. The cottage is snug and spotless, tastefully decorated, has great facilities and a decent kitchen with all amenities. I had a peaceful few days exploring and relaxing, could've stayed longer! Thank you also for the little basket of snacks set out for when I arrived, little details count so much (they didn't last long!). Amazing hosting, thanks! X
Quiet, simple modern renovation. Friendly and helpful owners.
Martyn and his wife were so welcoming, wonderful hosts. The Shepherds Hut was of an exceptionally high standard. A very welcomed pot of tea and cake. The breakfast pack was delicious especially the blackberry and apple jam with home made bread! Will certainly return and book an evening meal.
It was a perfect place for some rnr whilst visiting friends in Somerset. A lovely old building that had once been a Mill. The grounds were lovely, a stream, lake daffodils and a peacock and peahen made it so very welcoming. The owner and I chatted a lot and I was made to feel extremely welcome. I slept well and comfortably. I only needed a light evening meal which they were happy to do and lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before heading off. I would recommend Hornsbury
Udderly brilliant ;-). The Udderhouse is superb accommodation. Spacious, clean and well equipped with everything one needs. I didn’t want to leave.
